Amazed how confident some are about specially Usyk boxing again with this dictators war going on. it's almost looked upon like a training injury if I see Usyk box again or get to listen to the Klitschkos in 6months time I will make sure sure I appreciate it I'm unsure about Lomachenko because he is at the bottom.

It will be tough for Vitali to come out the other side of this I suspect. After Russia take the capital it becomes more of a long, drawn out Guerrilla style war. As definite rebel leader material he will likely either be imprisoned or killed.

ya its pretty grim when you think about what might await any prominent ukranian there fighting against russia

None of them are on the front line currently. Wlad, Usyk & Lomachenko’s are reserves & if it carries on will end up getting called up.

I hope it doesn’t get that far.

I really hope I’m wrong but I think there’s a good chance Vitali is killed. As mayor of Kiev he’s one of the most prominent names in Ukrainian politics & has been an outspoken critic of Putin. You’ve got to imagine he’s got a massive target on his back.

Also what a badass Usyk is. To go to Moscow & fight Gassiev after the Russians had already taken Crimea & were involved in Donetsk & Luthansk. Unbelievable bravery.

They deserved better than someone like David Haye going to the lengths of creating an image of himself standing over their decapitated corpses.

TBH, there was a lot of controversy at the time, Russia put up the money, WBSS was always going to go where the money was.. Usyk was never happy about going there..

Of course being the road warrior he is, he went and dominated.

Povetkin seems to be very supportive of Putin. Someone who shouldn’t get anymore chances, although presumably he’s retired more or less now;

I think the Klitschko’s announced publicly the other day they’d killed 6 Russian soldiers. It seems highly unlikely Putin is going to let them off the hook when the dust settles.

Surely they are sadly on borrowed time. Would be horrific to see them leave like this but they’re obviously in combat situations and will come unstuck at some point.
Hoping Lomachenko, Usyk and the Klit’s get away with their lives. I honestly cannot see it.

Vitali Klitschko has confirmed he and his wife, Natalia, a former model, have filed for divorce after living apart for years while the Kyiv mayor oversees work in the war-torn Ukrainian capital



Former heavyweight world champion Vitali Klitschko has confirmed that he is divorcing model wife Natalia after 26 years of marriage.

The 51-year-old has been mayor of Ukraine since 2014 after turning to politics after hanging up his boxing gloves. However, model wife and musician Natalia, aged 48, has been living in the Germany city of Hamburg 'for years'.

Despite filing for divorce Klitschko told the German newspaper Bild, the pair have a 'very good relationship' and it is said that the two-time world champion writes to his wife every morning to tell her he is safe in Kyiv.

Talking to German newspaper Bild, he said: "We filed for divorce together because we have been living apart for years and now want to make it official. We have a very good relationship and respect each other, but we've been living separately in different cities for a long time."

Natalia, who is half Germany and half Ukrainian, has been helping the war effort by looking after refugees who have fled war-torn Ukraine in the last six months.

During a glittering boxing career Klitschko won 45 fights, losing just twice and held the WBC belt for over seven years. After retiring in 2013, he turned to politics and was voted mayor of Kyiv in 2014 and then winning a vote to serve a second terms in 2020.

The couple reportedly first met in the Ukrainian capital and have three children together: Yegor-Daniel (22), Elizabeth-Victoria (19) and Max (16).

Klitschko has remained in Kyiv and become a figurehead for Ukraine following Russia's decision to invade the nation, fighting on the frontline alongside his brother, Wladimir. Klitschko joined Ukraine's Territorial Army, of which Wladimir is chief, on the front line in the battle-torn streets.

Vitali told The Mirror: "Russians were once thought of as our brothers. And I have always been taught that you must never fight your brother."
