Can't believe people point to amateur results as evidence of how a pro fight would play out.
In the amateurs, Tillman beat Tyson twice. Biggs beat Lewis. Gonzalez beat Bowe. Whyte beat Joshua. People still use a teenage Bowe losing to Lewis as proof the same would happen in the pros. It's amazing.
Ricky Womack beat Holyfield a couple of times. I guess he would have been the big name of 80s and 90s boxing.

Not entirely sure when this is from and it's clearly cut to favour AJ but we can see the speed difference. AJ doesn't move his feet like that anymore so that might even things out but probably not enough.

72 percent here going joyce, evidently not a lot are using the amateur result to predict a pro fight

Based on their last purses, according to Frank's logic, the split should be 95/5 or 90/10 in Joshua's favour. No doubt Frank offered a 50/50 split or a £3m flat fee.

Right- look at who beat Roy Jones and Usyk for example.

Bowe wasn’t a teenager when he fought Lewis in the Olympic final. Did they fight before then?
I personally don’t think amateur results massively influence a pro fight but I think Bowe was a bit scared of Lewis and Lennox proved he could hurt him.

Yeh, pre Ruiz.. that AJ was decent and was going for it..
Just like in that actual fight as well.. He was going for Ruiz's head..
He didn't like that ear shot..
That one shot changed him.
Similar to the shot Whyte caught him with when he went wobbly. Joshua needs to get someone like Roach as trainer, he can't outbox Fury or Usyk, needs to be all out attack and get Larry Holmes to teach him to jab better.
