wilder has said fairly recently that he doesnt know if he wants to box ever again and is sick of things. just got ktfo brutally, 2 kos in a row, hasnt won since 2019. he's not gonna fight aj in a couple months

hopefully ortiz's side is genuine this time with their interest and willingness to fight josh

Wilder is a mirage, he might feign interest, but getting anything signed has proven to be nigh on impossible.

I'd pay to see Wilder swinging for the rafters while Joshua furiously back peddled. It's not going to distance. Not sure either of them need that fight thought, could be career ending.

I reckon Joshua would beat Wilder handily.

why not is because wilder couldnt be arsed with it right now. maybe he'll get his mojo back eventually

i've said it before, but so many people assume it would be aj with the confidence issue against wilder, and that wilder would just tee off on a timid aj and that aj would crumple when the windmill gets going

but wilder is the one who says he doesnt know if he ever wants to box again, that boxing is so unfair, that he'd rather sit around relaxing with drugs right now. he's the one who was just brutally ktfo, been ko'd twice in a row, and hasn't won since 2019. he's also a very cautious fighter to start with, people just picture the windmill but he often spends round after round just pawing at a guy until landing the big one

notice how silent wilder's been compared to previously, he just doesnt have the same spark

Wilder always had his limitations but Fury’s taken a lot from him, he’ll do very well to get back to the 2018 version of himself.

Joshua has definitely lost his aura as well, Usyk did a number on him and he’s had his own limitations exposed. I’d be well up for the fight though as I can see either one of them wiping the other one out cleanly.

90% of Brits on this forum back in the day thought Pricey the goods and Fury the flop are now making the same mistake selling AJ short after a fight he was winning on the cards with Usyk busting up like a ripe peach until AJ got his eye popped.

No Americans ever wanted to watch Wilder much less Fury, so let them pound sand. There are plenty of credible heavies for an AJ interim fight while waiting to see if Usyk even fights again. AJ put British boxing in the consciousness of International boxing fans not to mention being the biggest draw in modern British history with a record setting run. He can retire today on his sumptuous earnings if Usyk won't return and will be remembered for KOing Fury and Wilder with nary a punch thrown. As such, Wallin would be a nice sharp stick in the eye of boxing as his final fight
