Smith doesn’t really fight on the back foot and has an aggressive come forward style normally which is custom made for CEJ. I might be wrong and smith turns into Groves for one night, but to me it seems like a fast handed CEJ unanimous decision. Let’s hope next year is a better year for boxing

Nope.
Some people are reporting there are likely 3 PPVs in successive weeks. This, then Yarde/Beterbiev and then Taylor/Catterall.

Yeah agreed, in the right circumstances at the right time of year you could have seen this fight drawing a decent crowd to Anfield a couple of years ago.

Eubank has loads of publicity with the Benn nonsense and he actually came across really well. If this fight were ever going to be PPV, it’s now. I don’t think it’ll do mega numbers but should do 200k+ buys plus a sold out Echo or O2.
Out of the 3 PPVs that are being discussed for that 15 day window, I’d say this does the most buys.

Why is there a seemingly minimum price for PPV? If they’re going to do it then be flexible. £9-99 with a decent undercard might be a goer. Anywhere over £20 it’s a disgrace.

It’ll be a tough one and I hope they don’t end up all being PPV. Out of the 3 fights, I’d probably pick this as my favourite. Surer has to be an excellent fight.
