surprised you guys gave sonny the 12th, alvarado putting it on him in the corner for the first minute was the only notable thing..... i guess is dont score sunny so well just for dancing around

yes, alavardo was landing decent body shots all fight, it was no surprise that sunny slowed down considerably in the 2nd half. masterclass talk was cringe

last round he just prances around and supposedly that's beautiful boxing

turned out to be a solid fight, i think alvardo had it right --- go for sunny's body and throw lots of punches. it's harder to land to his head and slows his movement better

Good to see fair scorecards for a change .
Edwards by 2 rounds was about right , if Alvarado had won the last 2 I'd have give it a draw .

Oi oi saveloy. First 6 rounds were v dominant… and then it was very competitive thereafter.

You are aware Felix Alvarado will not shag you even though I know you to be a handsome young man.

it wasnt a masterclass at all, alvarado was working the body well and sonny was winning rounds by landing a couple more punches. sonny had to work very hard and it was obvious alvarado was a dangerous opponent and that he might start getting to sunny. hardly a mayweather showing where he makes the opponent look useless and only has to work at 50 percent

First 6 rounds FA was made to look useless.

not at all, and that he wasnt useless is shown in how sunny was worn down by the second half. that doesnt happen when someone is putting on an actual masterclass. this was just someone edging rounds vs a dangerous opponent who was chipping away

close highly competitive fight, enjoyed it

Sunny needs to get back up to 115 and try get one of the names there. 112 is a dead division.

Sunny is piss to watch, but vs choc or Estrada or Jessie Rodriguez I’d be down.

Boring styles need tough challenges to be interesting.

116-112 Edwards, all in all a very good performance against a genuine world class Flyweight, boxed very well up on his toes for the first 6, switched a couple times, countered the pressuring Alvarado with ease, not much on the punches but piled up the rounds, Alvarado pressed tried to slow Edwards down to the body with some success but it wasn't until the 7th it started to pay off, along with Edwards constant lateral movement he slowed right down and Alvarado caught up with him , was landing better shots to the body and finally landing upstairs, fight looked to be turning but Edwards got back to basics for the last couple to see it out
