Hadn't seen that. I see no point in fighting Arias. Disappointed. :brick:

At least it's not the old Brazillian one.

This one, i remember he won a SD against Cassius Chaney.. Was a clear win for Arias.

Arias impressed me with his win over Chaney. But then stunk up the joint in his next performance. I do not see Anderson having much problems. Should be a wide ud win

Arias has decent defense and can take a shot. I think the ko streak ends.

i think jah will blow away arias..........i do think it's arguably a step up though, certainly at least his 2nd best.. obviously there was jerry forrest, but problem with jerry is that he can fight closely with a good opponent one fight, then stink it out and fight like a journeyman the next, barely throwing a punch and being shutout or close to it like he's nobody

arias at least comes into this as a semi prospect who has been the a -side himself much of his career, has some of his best wins lately, and as limited as his opposition has been he's exposed a couple guys with even more inflated records. he'd be favoured over almost all jah's prior opponents i'd think

all that said, im not sure that arias would beat johnny rice........and i was looking for jah to take a step beyond that level after he bashed up jerry. i think it's a good time for him to take on, say, pulev

Yeah, this is where I'm at too.
Had a good think about it and really couldn't come up with a better option.
Part of my selection is based on potential rather than achievements.
With none of these guys fighting each other it's hard to really know where they are at.

I don’t know why he previously wasn’t ranked. He fought less than 12 months ago. He didn’t say he was campaigning at Bridget did he?

Yes he was declared as a bridger weight. Arias is currently the number 5 Bridger in the world according to the WBC

Gassiev beat Balogun. Kabayel beat Smakici.

Scheduled fights for the top 100:
#3 Anthony Joshua (24-3) vs #31 Jermaine Franklin (21-1)
#5 Joe Joyce (15-0) vs #27 Zhilei Zhang (24-1-1)
#16 Tony Yoka (11-1) vs #43 Carlos Takam (39-7-1)
#29 Jared Anderson (13-0) Vs #28 George Arias (18-0)
#32 Lucas Browne (31-3) vs #45 Jarrell Miller (25-0)
#39 Simon Kean (22-1) vs #101 Eric Molina (29-8)
#42 Faiga Opelu (15-3-1) vs #59 Kris Terzievski (11-1)
#44 Arslan Yallyev (13-0) vs #90 Georgy Yunovidov (7-0)
#57 Evgeny Romanov (17-0) vs #156 Chris Thompson (12-3-1)
#64 Alexis Barriere (8-0) vs #UNRANKED Zamig Atakishiyev (8-0-1)
#66 Frazer Clarke (6-0) vs #98 Rydell Booker (27-7-1)
#58 James Evans (5-0-1) vs #UNRANKED Tommy Washington Jr (7-12-1)
#72 Solomon Dacres (5-0) vs #227 Robert Ismay (11-0)
#73 Ruslan Fayfer (27-4-1) vs #80 German Garcia Montes (8-4)
#84 Deontae Pettigrew (8-0) vs TBA
#89 Peter Kadiru (14-1) vs #400 Hueseyin Akdemir (12-3)
#93 Vitaly Kudukhov (6-0) vs #219 Basir Abakarov (9-0)
#95 Brandon Moore (11-0) vs #355 Jhan Carlo Delgado (8-3)
#96 Dusan Veletic (6-1-1) vs TBA
#97 Kem Ljungquist (14-0) vs #72CW Sefer Seferi (25-3-1)

Plenty of trash. a few good fights. Not many stand out fights. I'm also convinced that Romanov has already wasted his career with opponents like this at 37 years old.

Also, I don't see more than one or two of these changing the rankings at all.

Agreed.
AJ can only drop
JJ can only drop
Franklin can move up
Zhang can definitely move up
Jared can move up
Those are the only fights that may have impact on ratings.
