Never got any warning either.

Plant excpectedly started well, but wasn't able to keep his sweet science longer than for 5 rounds. Benavidez' strength, power and pressure took over.

Very good fight. Great start from Plant but couldn’t see it through. Had it 8-4 Benavidez. Hope we see Benavidez v Canelo in September.

Impressed with Benevidez there. Great second half performance and engine.
Not many will fancy their chances against him on this form

A switched on, focused Benavidez is a real problem for almost anyone, whether he maintains discipline is another matter but let's hope so. entertaining fighter. Plant was sharp early on but got overwhelmed in the 2nd half, enjoyable watch.

That was what boxing is all about. Two men not prepared to quit or accept losing. What a fight. Just when I think I'm done with boxing it pulls me back it.

Yeah boxing still a mockery half the time these days, but every now and again, if you can be bothered to look for it, you get actual fighting men that are all business just wanting to test themselves

But for the most part boxing is laughable nowadays, especially where prospects are concerned, you can only fight who's in front or you an all that but the people these bods are matched with are just comical

And the pacing of a boxing card is usually awful,

Good fight, Plant started off well moving and jabbing up and down but Benavidez came on the second half and started putting a beating on Plant, the ref let Plant away with a lot of holding, Benavidez was walking Plant down and clubbing around the side of the guard, might've been stopped, tough going for Plant
