The last thing I've listened to that involved Costello was his & Bunce's tribute to the late Ricky Hatton on BBC Radio 5 Live last year

I find Costello to be the best no idea what they got rid of him or he left of his own volition

Costello was excellent on radio, not so much on DAZN. A million times better than dreadful Smith though, obviously.

He’s a much better radio commentator than he was on DAZN.

There's a real lack of quality boxing radio commentators these days....long gone are the days days of Harry Carpenter, Des Lynam or Ian Darke
John Rawlings is the last bastion of the 'old school' and God bless him
Mike Costello was good, but lacked up-to-the-second detail...absolutely essential for radio.
Ron McIntosh (AKA "The Ronster") is innovative and IMO is probably only 2nd best to Master Rawlings

Gareth A. Davies (Talksport) or Steve Bunce (5Live.) What a choice!

It's only in round 5 and Radio 5 Live's Jonathan Overend & Steve Bunce are almost shouting themselves hoarse !
It sounds like a real rockem-sockem fight
