Farage said that the rest of Europe faced the same rise. Bellew begged to differ citing a recent trip to Portugal. Very civil, no soapbox, just 2 adults having a conversation. refreshing. tonys coming off quite well, reasonable and able to laugh at himself.

Yeah. I was expecting Bellew to come across worse than he has. In boxing he’s always been quite angry but he’s managed to stay fairly relaxed and has come across likeable.

His exchange with Farage was refreshing and the opposite to how a lot of people think nowadays. Nella, earlier in the series, had a conversation where she just shouted and jumped to conclusions.

People can and do have different opinions on things. The world would be a boring place without that but it seems more of a modern thing where people take offence to anyone who thinks differently to them and can’t have a reasoned conversation about it.

Farage was on a reported 1.25 Million for 3 weeks "work". Even if Bellew was on 25% of that, that is still serious money for 3 weeks work and let be truthful it is not as bad as they make out - e.g. they are not going to get serious injury / illness. Plus there is always some hottie for the shower scenes, so the views won't be bad for 3 weeks!

As a money grab it's well worth it. I really doubt he was on 25% though.
I've read previously that the z-list reality stars do it for 10k, it's probably worth doing for free for the exposure.
With what they paid for Farage, I bet they were cutting costs in other areas.
Wouldn't surprise me if he got like 25k

Those who do well in it are also set up more coming out of it where they can get paid/paid more for endorsements on social or in other things they want to do.

I thought he came across real well. A tough bloke but someone who also encouraged the others and had a much softer side. One of my mates called him a celebrity once and he hated it, corrected him and said he’s just a boxer. He doesn’t seem to have changed.

I`m unsure if he just had good luck at the end of his career - or a good agent. But he certainly seemed to turn his career around with some very good decisions late on

Bellew benefited from being with Sky/Matchroom at the perfect time. He was also smart with his choices.

Wins the world title against Makabu, has a relatively soft defence against Flores and calls out Haye straight away. He knew a fight with Haye would set him up for life and whilst he knew Haye wasn’t who he once was he was lucky that Haye injured himself during the first fight giving him the rematch and the Usyk fight.

not that we'll ever know, but i think he would have beaten haye regardless of the injury. haye looked awful in those ridiculous comeback fights, his timing was gone.
