Got it 114-114 but slightly different from comms, it landed up being a decent little scrap, pretty cagey first 6 rounds but Essomba was in control, winning off the back of that southpaw left hand l, timing Konki who looked passive, second half Konki found his confidence, started taking the fight to Essomba who quickly gassed, Konki walked him down and was putting shots together, hitting the body and out hustling him, good fight, good swing in the script, no qualms with Essomba getting it, too slow to get going from Konki

that was an awful refereeing and corner work for Shakiel fight, horrible to watch. Poor fella in away corner. Ref should be banned

Rattled off every cliche in the book, he was a bit OTT, top man though is Spencer, maybe stick to punditry though1466334 wrote: ↑09 Feb 2024, 19:03Far too enthusiastic for my liking.handsofstone wrote: ↑09 Feb 2024, 18:12 I like Spencer Oliver, sound bloke and a solid pundit but he's annoying the life out of me in comms

a brilliant night of boxing, perplexed that they have not showed Hayden tho
Re: Thomas Essomba vs. Elie Konki - 9 February 2023
Hayden was first up on the card, streamed on the GBM YT channel from 6pm. Thomspon looked sensational there, against a normally durable opponent.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑09 Feb 2024, 19:12 a brilliant night of boxing, perplexed that they have not showed Hayden tho

You're right about the clichés, can't recall which fight it was but he said 'cut no corners/leave no stone unturned' in the same sentencehandsofstone wrote: ↑09 Feb 2024, 19:12

Liam Cameron picks up another win at the end, 2nd comeback win, moves to 21 and 5 and looks fitter.

thought konki won that tbh, cant begrudge tommy a decision going his way in a fight like that though
is dalton smith more active in corners than any other fighter his level? 100 percent locked in for a full time training career after this isnt he

Essomba started well but seemed to fade
Konki came on strong.
