nobody knows what wilder has left after his inactivity / beatings by fury and a general lack of boxing IQ so it could be the most intriguing of the HW fights .
My initial thought was its a huge risk for parker but maybe thats being harsh on him .
TBF neither are truly " elite " despite both being ex champs

I'd have fancied the Parker of a few years ago to beat this Wilder, but suspect he'll need to get off the canvas to do it. Can he still do that...

I still believe in Wilder's right arm There's no way Parker will be able to avoid it for 12 rounds. I reckon he'll get stunned early too

me too. That power isn't diminishing.
I know everyone mocks Wilder's ability but he did medal at Olympics very shortly after starting the sport. Fair play.

not about Wilder-Parker but same bill so forgive the posting. I read today AJ beat Wallin twice as an amateur, did not know that. They have at least shared a ring already.

I think Parker has got enough left to get a gassed Wilder out of there around the 8th.

I like this fight, but I think it's going to be one of those Wilder fights where he gets outboxed for 6/7 rounds and then pulls it out by a sudden ko.

Anyone heard anything on purses? I’m pretty curious…
Also who’s main event? That dosent bother me much but it will be an ego game of Eddie vs frank.

Who the main event is hasn't been resolved as yet according to Wilder. He was suggesting they toss a coin for it.

Franks got nothing to do with the 4 men in Co-main events.
Personally I think Wilder-Parker.
But I feel it won’t be.
In terms of biggest names it goes Joshua > Wilder > Parker > Wallin. It depends whether they want the more competitive or biggest single name. I think it will likely end up being Joshua-Wallin.

What fight is the more compeditive one in your eyes? I think parker vs wilder is more compeditive, but interestingly the bookies have AJ vs wallin as a closer fight.

It doesn't matter to me either way. Just hope it leads to Wilder-Joshua but there's no guarantee that fight will ever happen.

They'll be announcing it in the ring if they both win.

I don't know. He may choose to pursue that IBF belt instead. He will say about Wilder that he is 38, inactive, lost the trilogy to Fury and he has no belts. And then he will choose to pursue Hrgovic instead.

I think on paper it's Parker/Wilder. Parker is the underdog but has better wins than Wilder. Parker would be Wilder's most successful opponent while Parker does have a win over Ruiz who has had a bigger achievement than Wilder. Nobody actually knows Wilder's level which is the problem here, he's worse than Fury but better than Ortiz which would rank him somewhere between 3rd and 20th in the division.

Most of the 4 haven't fought in a while so don't be surprised if they are more ".muscular".

Looking forward to this fight the most of any on the card. For me it's Parker's fight to lose, his biggest obstacle is concentrating for every minute of every round, as the moment he switches off, that's him done. Wilder has always been awful but with fight altering power, at least against the mostly awful opposition he's faced

The intended opponent was Chisora .. and for a reason. He is a name and also on his last legs, so ideal for Wilder to t-off on.
I think Parker has been some what forced on Wilder as an alternative. Another name fighter, and one who also looks as if he his missing enough steps since Joyce to allow Wilder to bounce his right hand off.
Parker can get a win here I think. He needs to avoid going for the KO when Wilder is looking ready to go, and just follow Furys example of just keep applying the pressure until Wilder`s legs can`t hold him up any longer.
I think this show will stir the division up - Wilder will be removed and Joshua is going to look spectacular against Wallin.
