Daniel Dubois.
Hughie Fury.
Nathan Gorman.
It doesn’t matter how many times you plainly display the weaknesses and limitations of these guys there will be people on here who think they are going to go on and beat top 15 guys.

Browne hit Miller with everything and Miller kept rolling forward ..Twinkle Toes wrote: ↑16 Nov 2023, 09:47That is a good point, I am giving Dubois more credit than maybe I should. I watched Browne vs Miller and it was a slugfest and Browne is well past his sell by date.
I think Miller can soak up some punishment he's a fkn lump and can get his shots off, but i'm just not sure he'll get away with it against Dubois.
Dubois has had his fair share of tomota-cans to flatter his record, so its unclear if he will actually hit harder than Browne who`s record is also padded.
Miller is used to shipping punches to wear an opponent down, whereas Dubois as we know is very likely to quit again when he has hit Miller with everything and yet keeps shipping punches from a 320lb guy in his face.
Its hardly the easiest fight back for a guy who had his heart broken and quit in his last fight is it ..
Re: Daniel Dubois vs. Jarrell Miller - 23 December 2023
When Hughie comes back from his obvious drugs ban, I'd like to see him face Dubois. Especially if Dubois loses against Miller. They look like they're at a similar level.jameswilson wrote: ↑16 Nov 2023, 13:10 Daniel Dubois.

If you’re DDDD ( dynamite Daniel Dubois’s dad ) you’re looking at this fight scratching your head and thinking why is Frank throwing my boy into a such a tough comeback fight? After his last one, which was about as tough as they come.
Re: Daniel Dubois vs. Jarrell Miller - 23 December 2023
I don’t know why they put DDD on the stage at these events, he’s clearly completely unable to speak publicly. His team should be trying to protect him.

Right. Dubois has plenty of gas in the tank and the idea he went ‘toe to toe’ until he was empty is laughablejoshj909 wrote: ↑16 Nov 2023, 13:05Dubois barely won a round. He obviously wasn’t stood there throwing Hayemakers but he did throw a hell of a lot of shots in there & was visibly tiring the round or two before the stoppage.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑16 Nov 2023, 12:53Went toe to toe and punched himself out?revisionist historian much?
I’m a big Usyk fan & I expected the fight to be easier than it was. Although Usyk won the majority of the rounds, Dubois made the rounds competitive.
Usyk’s the fittest heavyweight out there & Joyce isn’t far behind. I don’t think many other heavyweights will make Dubois fight at the pace he did in them fights & they’ll not be constantly hitting him like Usyk did as they’re nowhere near as talented.
Im not one of these that gets online calling people quitters. He fought for about 7 or 8 rounds with a badly damaged eye & then had a good go against Usyk before succumbing. There’s far easier ways of quitting than taking the punishment Dubois did.
Re: Daniel Dubois vs. Jarrell Miller - 23 December 2023
Bit of a weird post. I’ve been one of Usyk’s big fans on here & was rooting for him to winjoshj909 wrote: ↑16 Nov 2023, 13:05Dubois barely won a round. Quadruple D obviously watched the cheat against Browne and thought god , he's awful .MightyWarrior wrote: ↑16 Nov 2023, 13:51 If you’re DDDD ( dynamite Daniel Dubois’s dad ) you’re looking at this fight scratching your head and thinking why is Frank throwing my boy into a such a tough comeback fight? Re: Daniel Dubois vs. Jarrell Miller - 23 December 2023
I can only guess it's a final gamble on huge exposure. Everybody will be watching this card and a win over Miller can be sold as a huge win to casuals. Dubois has had two losses the only two times that most casuals have bothered watching him so he needs a big win with big exposure or risk being demoted to undercard and journeyman status forever.MightyWarrior wrote: ↑16 Nov 2023, 13:51 If you’re DDDD ( dynamite Daniel Dubois’s dad ) you’re looking at this fight scratching your head and thinking why is Frank throwing my boy into a such a tough comeback fight? Alternatively, it would take Frank a few years to build Dubois up to another worthwhile title shot and I don't think Frank will have the confidence in Dubois as he once did. He came very close to losing to Lerena which would have sent him very far back in the pecking order.

Well bookies started it at 7-1 fav, so they don’t see it too tough.MightyWarrior wrote: ↑16 Nov 2023, 13:51 If you’re DDDD ( dynamite Daniel Dubois’s dad ) you’re looking at this fight scratching your head and thinking why is Frank throwing my boy into a such a tough comeback fight? I personally have it closer to 5-1 fav but still have ddd very very firmly favourite.
I guess the logic is that miller has looked dogshit after his failed drugs test. He is super hittable, and he is a soft arm puncher, but somehow casuals and non casuals rate as a hard fight… So if DDD goes and puts a horror beating on him he is right back in the mix.
Joyce jabbed DDDs eye into dust and ddd quit (fair in my opinion). Usyk had him frustrated and getting tired and ddd gave in (less fair but understandable). Miller shouldent have the power to break ddds face, and he defiantly won’t be elusive enough to frustrating him… seems like a nice matchup to me.

Miller has over 300lb rolling relentlessly onto his opponent. I agree he is very hittable, and his punches do not appear immediately concussive ... But his chin hasn't looked like letting him down and the style appears able to wear people down to get the stoppages.gregregegg wrote: ↑17 Nov 2023, 15:08Well bookies started it at 7-1 fav, so they don’t see it too tough.MightyWarrior wrote: ↑16 Nov 2023, 13:51 If you’re DDDD ( dynamite Daniel Dubois’s dad ) you’re looking at this fight scratching your head and thinking why is Frank throwing my boy into a such a tough comeback fight? Dubois will land his big punches for sure but he will also be shipping some back whilst being made to work a lot harder than Joyce made him .. it would be nice to see Dubois prove us wrong and show grit; but he hasn't shown that yet.

Millers career best win is Washington.
44 year old brown just lasted 6 competitive rounds with him… much longer than he made it agains a rugby player or Dave Allen…
I’m sure frank has testing in place for his boy here. Miller

miller's resume isnt too bad tbh - relatively fresh versions of duhaupas, wach, washington. also adamek, as well as junior fa's daddy. kassi had also drawn with arreola (should've been a win for fred) and had a close one with big dom a few fights before miller pounded him. you keep mentioning these competitive fights, but he's barely lost a round past the 2nd and unlike your man big dave never lose a decision to a guy like lenroy thomas. he's a slow starter and heats up gradually.
are dub's wins much better? does miller hit much lighter than kev lerena?
