You've just made me laugh out loud on a packed train. Fantastic comment.

Why fall back on "I'm from a different culture" and the I can't read or write excuses. That just evokes all the Traveller stereotypes of playing the card.

Reads like they paid some idiot from a local pub to sign a contract of having some non-existent company to cover for what they were really using it for.

Look at the dates of Tyson's fights and you'll notice that they've never clashed with Henley Regatta. It was something John always insisted on. He used to be a regular at the high society sporting festival but not surprisingly he ended up getting barred.
He'd entered Tommy and Shane into a race but not long before the start a race official innocently asked John where his 'coxless pair' were as the race was due to begin. John took umbrage to this and utter carnage ensued. Henley Regatta's not been the same since.

Is his own culture so different from the norms or UK society that he is oblivious to what is legal or not?

By his own admission he signed the ownership of said land to his sons when they reached 21. So again, how did he know this was the correct and legal way .. and not complete the transaction with a spitty handshake and a grunt.

How dare you imply any of the Fury's are involved in criminality.

Shane said he was an airport parking attendant?

I wonder if that was on the land which they hadn't paid their tax on?

Mystery solved. That does make things a lot more obvious doesn't it.

Taking money from people to park there whilst they fly from Manchester airport, but declaring only a valeting business for tax purposes.

It was only a valeting business, it's just that some of the cleans took like 2 weeks.
