Pulev, I didn't catch the scores, but I thought he won pretty much every round,

I wonder who voted for Pulev to win with KO/TKO he hasnt done that in almost 6 years
Both were shot, Pulev won on points as Charr had almost no offense during the fight. Pulev had offense but as always without any spite in his punches. Fres Oquendo is probably considering a comeback.

Thank Jesus, Muhammed or whomever that we don’t have to hear Charr and “champion” in the same sentence anymore after seven years

117-111 Pulev as well, pretty good fight, not brilliant but both men old and slow so weren't capable of avoiding each other's punches so it made for a pretty entertaining scrap, Pulev set a pretty good pace tbf, he's always had a great jab and it was excellent tonight, everything came off it, kept it simple jabs and rights and Charr couldn't match the volume, he had some successful bursts but not busy enough to keep up with Pulev who looked like he doubled the work of Charr

The long reign of Charr is over.

The youthful energy of this new kid Pulev was too much.

Would also accept canelo for the WBA regular heavyweight title freakshow….

I'd still be surprised if Pulev is beatable by Adeleye or Fisher.

WBA Regular can only defend against top 15 ranked guys like a proper championship belt right?

WBA top 15:
1. Bakole
2. Fury
3. Hunter
4. Pero
5. Kabayel
6. Wardley
7. Pulev*
8. Zhang
9. Gassiev
10. Itauma
11. Chaney
12. Ortiz
13. Miller
14. Dychko
15. Savage

Realistically you're looking at Hunter, Pero, Wardley, Gassiev, Itauma, Chaney, Ortiz, Miller, Dychko or Savage. If it's a mandated defence then it might be in that order.

Pulev's record suggests he would prefer Pero, Chaney, Dychko or Savage.

Frank might pay a lot of money for Pulev to defend against Itauma.

I'd actually enjoy a Pulev vs Ortiz retirement fight. Two past it veterans.

Based on the attendance and atmosphere last night, I'd think Kubrat and his handlers will want another home fight and Gassiev looks the most likely IMO. As much as I think the belt is worth the same as one of the brown things that come out my dogs bum, others might think it looks good on a fight poster.
