I think more often than not, the promoters have had better legal advice and are also personally more experienced in these situations. They're also generally more business smarter than the boxers. 'Fish Eyes' is notorious for this and will not let it go, if he is right.
Similar story with Tony B, wasn't it? I could be wrong. Both were saying the polar opposites, but Bellew walked away. Same with Hatton? Both times, Fw@nk threatened legal action.
