They might turn out for a big fight vs Joshua or Fury but it will be a one off - there's a reason Zhang has fought mostly abroad - boxing (or western boxing as it is called here) is a niche sport - it has its followers but not enough for Zhang to sell out stadiums regularly - how popular is boxing here? Those PPV's you pay 30 quid for are shown for free here - because nobody would pay PPV to watch boxing. Zhang's win over Wilder was shown on delayed broadcast because at the time he was fighting, there was the important business of skateboarding from Shanghai.
Sporting heroes here are the Chinese female volleyball team, table tennis stars, that male sprinter who can run 100 meters in 10 seconds and esports stars (there's such a thing...). Chinese youth love basketball - the NBA could sell out any stadium they liked.
do you think he could change his endurance at his age? Not being sarcastic, I'm interested to know if you can make CV improvements after 40. Especially at his size.

It's a marvel he's fighting at that level at 41. He's a fit man for sure. I think about boxing now and it makes me want to throw up
I'm 40 and the thought of being punched in the head makes me wince. Did some strongman events training today and felt ancient. I just know my hips are not going to thank me tomorrow. Just had an invite to a Masters comp too which has made me feel ancient!

esports is a very different type of activity than boxing obviously, but it takes serious skill and talent and training (of course not physically gruelling training ) to reach the high levels. just think of how many people play video games. also a ton of strategy involved, it's not just who mashes the same button fastest

I was a good Street Fighter 3 player. Fought some of the better Japanese lads and got fornicating wrecked, there's loads of little tricks they know with specialty characters that you wouldn't even think about
