Buncey doing his bit to appease the 'Boss'.

Way too early for such 'excitement'. Still, when I saw Bunce on the panel, you know he will 'talk it up'.

The kid looks ok, quite wild, but has power.

Defo some talent and a natural punch there tbf.

Looks like he could do with a nutritionist, tho - very soft and fleshy @ the weight.

He's certainly raw. He's definitely got a touch of the Edwin Valero about him

With the effort put in he will struggle to pace himself against anyone who can last 4 rounds or more

So, do you think a pro journeyman is better than a knockover?

:TU: Surely he could headline in Liverpool at some point with that style and personality.

Obviously I get how spectators can get frustrated by negative fighters but prospects need rounds, no two ways about it.

I agree. This shows they have a role to play in the game.

Changing the subject, looking at Henry Turner, a traveller, who is a craftsman.

Might be a bit ironic that travellers can give it the I'm a killing machine etc, but whether we are talking about the Furies, BJS, or the many coming through, McCann, Turner etc they look to box, don't sit down on their shots, like to pick shots on the back foot

True Dat Coco - "Gypsy Fitin Man" surprisingly seems to mean "stylish skill merchant" :maybe:

Everyone is scoring this 3-1 to Turner, right...?

Definitely. A knockover job might build the confidence, but learning how to break down a man who survives rounds for a living is good for a prospect

And it's pretty clear 4-1 now, but Raffles looks very solid and Turner like he might come apart.

Henry Turner isn't a traveller

Pretty much outclassed for 7 rounds, but kept the self-belief and now he's British Champ.

Great fight ,
Silky stuff from Turner for the most part but Rafferty hurt him to the body in round 6 and made it a target from there on in .
Gutsy showing from Rafferty there and you can see what the British title means to him .

That was level on two cards ?! :maybe:

I was with the judge that had Turner 4 up.
It was easy to score - Turner winning rounds clearly on skills... until he wasn't. Great come from behind victory.
Not many sports where you can come from 6-2 down like that.
Quidditch I suppose..
