I hate this narrative that boxers like Campbell Hatton can't be naturally tough because he grew up in a big house as if every boxer these days grew up like Dempsey or Frazier
Japan has loads of top tough fighters and they didn’t grow up in slums.
I’m fairly sure Campbell grow up in a fairly modest house with his mum. That’s not to say he hasn’t had a lot of advantages from the Hatton name but he wasn’t that privileged
it's immaterial but he was his dad has £40m he's never known a challenge in his life
Being compared to Ricky Hatton is a big challenge for any boxer!

it is. I am lucky my dad was a tramp, literacy is winning with me. He fought hard and has a massive heart well done to Campbell.
He lost though.

Yeah Campbell defo got the hunger silver spoon or not.
It would be so easy for him to walk away but he poured his soul into that and every fight he has. Nuff respec'
He's just not that good.

Why is Campbell Hatton favourite to win his rematch ?!
I mean, I know it was close last time, but still fairly clear for Flint. Is he really gonna improve THAT much from switching trainers/gyms. Flint just as likely to improve a bit too, no..?
Thanks for pointing that out. Put a few quid on Flint after you pointed it out. Can’t believe he was not favourite.

He's just not that good.
he has been afforded the ability to box full time since he turned over. He has zero ability. Lovely lad, and nice too. But deserves nothing.

Jack it or play with the area level boys ?
Would be a shame if he jacked it I think .

I said at the time he turned pro he was barely an open class amateur. Matthews son looks much better although still only young.

Think Zero is harsh Sean and I actually think very slight improvement was made since last time out .
Obviously his level is set now though .

I don't. The only thing he has is his name. If he loses at area level despite fighting full time and having a full team around him, he is a terrible fighter. No power, super hard working clearly but not deserving of anything other than poncing off his dad's name. He has nothing to offer boxing other than second hand ring entrances.

I stand by my point. Remember his arrogant interview after that fight he clearly lost but got the decision in. Arrogance. Zero ability.

The fact Flint lost to a 6-1 kid in between beating Hatton isn't a good look.

Well I disagree, he played a part in two very entertaining low level quality fights .
I was entertained and that's why I watch the sport .

The losses are down to ability. Loads couldn't win an area with all the best facilities in the world. You still have to win a fight on your own.

I'm actually sure he's got desperate burning hunger to win
something
He's obviously not gonna get close to even Uncle Matt, but he's still doing it under a lot of pressure and no success - his desire is strong imo.
im only kidding mate i like him hes clearly a nice fella i just really hope Flint wins ill never support the silver spooner over a proper person
It seems you have an irrational bias against anyone who didn't grow up in the hood
Just to clarify, are you saying that anybody who has parents who've done alright for themselves isn't a "proper person" ?

100%. I've no problem watching Campbell in more 50/50s. But not at this spot on a card.
