Don’t even know if I can do this myself
These aren't the kind of videos Martin usually shares on Twitter
Does anybody with any real influence care about fighters' long term wellbeing - even the fighters themselves? I'm not so sure.gregregegg wrote: ↑22 Mar 2025, 00:53 My point is it dosent have to have taken much. With a 9 week turn around it only has to have kept him away from sparring a couple of weeks to be bad.
And the shape he was in 9 weeks isn’t much either.
I guess the plan is a 4 week fat camp followed by 4 weeks sparring? And even that isn’t giving the brain a big rest.
I get that. But are you saying you think bakole just went strait into sparring? Because surely that won’t do him any favours in may….Jimmy2025 wrote: ↑22 Mar 2025, 01:30Does anybody with any real influence care about fighters' long term wellbeing - even the fighters themselves? Should Bakole rest a bit longer? Probably, but I can think of many worse examples of fighters getting absolutely sparked in sparring and still fighting a few weeks later. First one that comes to mind... Lucas Browne's entire career trajectory changed after he got stopped in the Whyte fight, for example. Word on the street is he got tonked stiff by Derek Chisora only a few weeks prior.
Geeze that cracked me up.gregregegg wrote: ↑22 Mar 2025, 00:53

Well let's not pretend he took a horrific beating from Parker, and needs a lengthy recovery time. He took a small handful of good shots from Parker, and the fight was over in the 2nd round. He's probably already recovered from the limited damage he took in that bout. The main thing is just getting back into shape.gregregegg wrote: ↑22 Mar 2025, 00:53 My point is it dosent have to have taken much. This fight either elevates Parker's credibility 2% or elevates Sanchez's credibility 100%. It's a shame that Parker wouldn't get the fight he deserves and Sanchez refuses to take the fight he needs.
Reminds me of that crazy African reverend from about 20 years ago saying "day-eet-da-poo-poo!".

get an audience in for that….

When you do the R by R for this fight, can two of the poll viewing options after gone fishing, radio, and pub be "Staring in though a neighbors window" and "Sitting in a holding cell, regretting staring through a neighbors window"![]()
Unless you live next door to handsofstone, I don't think anyone's neighbour will be tuning in.KiwiRider wrote: ↑02 May 2025, 02:54Hey Ruthie,Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑02 May 2025, 02:40Mannequins?MightyWarrior wrote: ↑02 May 2025, 02:20 So I’ve just realised as it’s in Saudi it’s gonna be taking place from midnight to 6 am local time - which is pretty crazy ( for American TV ) but how do they
