I assume this is scheduled for 12 and the first 6/7 rounds might be a bit of a shelling for Joe to endure, but if he can wade through Hrgovic's offensive and really pile the pressure on in the last 5 rounds we know Filip's head drops & he loses interest....he doesn't quit, so Joyce will have to force an intervention.
Decent analysis. What you say towards the end is particularly relevant considering Filip has not had a full camp AND is coming back from a lay off.
On full camps, I would be heavily backing Hrgovic at this stage in their careers but the late notice has to be factored in.
Let's see what his condition is like on the scales.
He’s only had 3 losses hasn’t he? But not as if he’s had a long pro career or over 30 wins.
When he turned pro, he got stuck in there trying to be fast tracked. But struggled to get the opponents.
Thing now is, he’ll lose to a decent name then have a comeback win against a Kash Ali then get back in with a decent contender again. He’ll need to beat a decent contender. Like Chisora has done every so once in a while.
If anyone can get a clue into Filip’s condition, and it’s not great, it’s well worth putting a bet on Joe if you think he’s going to win this, because the bookies certainly don’t: 10/3.
Like most everyone they think that once great chin is cracked, and this other guy is no joke.
As we now know what a devastating puncher DDD truly is, surely going those rounds with him did some damage to Joe. I can’t remember but I’m sure he took loads of shots…
Two genuinely friendly heavyweights in the main event is not going to get the casuals ignited - the table tipping I think was probably preplanned, a lightweight table so frank didn’t get beaned

This has to be the end for Joyce surely once he gets beaten by hirgo .
He really is just far too slow to avoid whatever is coming his way .
Heavies can keep on going until they want to stop. Joyce could have a lot more losses before he can't get a gig. There will be a UK gatekeeper position opening up shortly, Joyce could fill that for a few years.
I saw a clip of him complaining about people telling him to quit.
He was annoyed and said he wants to fight on.
At 39 I don't think he will for too much longer hopefully.
I see what you are saying - maybe he can surprise us all ....
if he gets battered again then its a downward journey from there with ever decreasing paychecks .
The good news is we are getting some boxing on the telly this wknd

Never knew the British title was on the line for Adeleye/TKV
Seems an insult to the title
agree
they are both lightweight at HW
Who should be fighting for it if not these two? I have them both to beat Fisher and Rhino. Wardley has vacated, Hughie thinks he's beyond that level as does Joyce, Whyte, Chisora, Joshua, Dubois and Fury. Dacres got banged out by Adelaye and Fraser Clarke got banged out in short order by Wardley.

Dubois vs Chisora for the British title and give the heavyweight belt back to Usyk

Strong and conclusive argument.
I wasn't sold on either, but now you put it like that, I guess there isn't anyone right now that is any more qualified

The only person I didn't mention is Itauma. I would have preferred him to fight Adelaye but I don't have a problem with it being TKV.

I'd like Moses to have one more fight with someone who can take him deep. We still don't know what he is like after 6 rounds.
