on the form from usyk's last fight he still has more than enough to beat dan again, will he have declined more? always possible and thats the wild card, but he's been a consumate professional throughout his career, boxed well last time out, and looks very cool and confident so far to me
betting wise usyk is only about 2/5, not that big considering he already beat dan handily and is the king of the division
Not to mention he looked better in both rematches against AJ and Fury, what's to say he doesn't look even better this time out seeing as he has already figured Daniel out?

Fair points, I get the odds aren't that crazy considering the first fight, but time can change a lot in boxing. Usyk looked good vs Fury, but even a slight physical decline could be enough when you're facing someone like Dubois, who now comes in stronger, more confident, and with that "nothing to lose" energy.
I still favor Usyk, but I don’t think this rematch will be as straightforward as the first. If Dubois can close the gap and make it rough early, things could get interesting fast.

a chin made of steel
Is this satire?
Yes. I don't think his chin is literally made out of steel. He does have a very good chin though and if someone thinks otherwise, I'd question their knowledge or their eyes.

Uysk did 24 rounds with Fury and Joshua and wasn't dropped once.
That's a chin.

Instead. It was Usyk that nearly dropped them

I know this fight happened two years ago and that Usyk completely dominated, but seeing him as such a big favorite again is kinda wild.
Usyk is now two years further from his prime, whereas Dubois is two years closer to his.
Dubois has enough power to potentially stop anyone in the division, a chin made of steel, and now three good to very good wins to boost his confidence.
It would be a real shame if Usyk loses when he’s almost 40.
I should probably put some money on Dubois, to soften the blow if Usyk actually does lose
I was kidding btw.

usyk has never shown being past it , his performances even in laste 30s are as good as hes ever been at hw
his last fight can absolutely not be another rematch or threematch
parker or kabayel. even jalolov in a gold medal showdown interests me more

Completely agree. New blood.
This was an absolute beat down.
I wonder how a Parker fight in Australia or New Zealand would play out? Would it command enough of the world’s stage? Would the money be good enough?
Jalolov would be a great fight in the Ukraine as a final fight.

That was an exciting 5 rounds of HW boxing as I've seen for ages. DDD was more focused, more measured and mature this time.
He still came up short.
It's reassuring to see that 89% of us here had Usyk to win and 58% by knockout.
Let's see what all of those "Daniel's got to jump on him" merchants have to say now that a veteran 38 year beats a top in form 27 year old on his home ground.
Boxing isn't supposed to be like that.
We've just witnessed HW history in the making.

Why were they wrong? That's literally the only scenario he could have won. A careful, technical fight always goes to Usyk decision, jumping on him was his only chance.
If they fought again I'd tell Dubois jump on him, still his only chance.

Parker deserves to be the next to face Usyk. Should Usyk win, he'd have no more worlds left to conquer and retire.
No one else - no one - has either demonstrated themselves capable of beating Usyk, or will be ready to try before Oleksandr's 40th birthday. So Usyk-Parker, then depending on the outcome let the IBF, IBO, WBA, WBC, WBO and EIEIO all 'elevate' their 'interim' World Champions, and let the next generation see what they can do.

Another masterclass from Usyk.
I think team Dubois were quite disrespectful to Usyk during the build-up.
Don Charles in particular and some other guy who I think is his son were particularly annoying.
I quite like Dubois, but I'm glad Usyk did that to him just to shut those two gobshites up.
No more made up controversy and no more wanging on about low blows/body punches or religion, I hope from now onwards.

I hope Usyk does not fight Fury or Joshua next
His last six fights are Furyx2, JoshuaX2, DuboisX2
Time for someone new. Not Chisora either wtf, how does he keep getting title shots?
Parker is the only pick.

Yes, Parker or Kabayel for me.
How many times does he have to beat Joshua, Fury and Dubois before everyone accepts that he's just better than them all?
Also, agreed, no more Chisora!
Dereck must know where the bodies are buried, because I just can't understand how he keeps getting pitched for title shots, when guys who've actually beaten him can't get a look in.

Honestly ive had my doubts a little bit. Usyk being 38 and Dubois at his very prime, 95% KO ratio with 3 stoppage wins over very good oposition since that loss. But this was just masterclass. Impressed, impressed, impressed And i dont want to hear some BS about how weak HW is today. Those guys Usyk beat are freakin beasts. But he is beast tamer
P4P number 1 and already ATG
