Realistically, these are the best that fit that category, some of them are better than Moore: Hysa, Camkiran, Ljungquist, Xhoxhaj, Prenga, Milas, Pero, Shaw, Ahio, Knyba, Suslenkov, Aliev, Meyna, Kyakonye, Vykhryst, Larduet, Kadiru, Dychko, Zakhozhyi, Dacres, Barriere and Shaka.

If he wants a somewhat recognisable opponent for fans who has proven to be below the level needed to be a big threat but might possess a small threat like Makhmudov, then his opponent could be Gassiev, Bakole, Anderson, Yoka, Vianello, Pulev or Lerena.
Bakole for the comedy

This is the best case scenario isn't it? I'd love that.
I think it would be hard to watch.
Not a good plan for the fading fighter's comeback to be a lion like Wardley who I think is the current hardest hitter. Or at least hitter who can still land them.

Brandon Moore, Heavyweight contender. Who????
I picture Fury picking someone at about that level for his comeback opponent
He seems a much lower level than Makhmudov, who's being discussed. Makhmudov is probably around the level of Wallin, whereas, Moore is probably more like Tom Schwarz.
I would personally be okay with Makmudov and think hes a bit better than Wallin. That wouldn’t be a terrible fight, Makmudov vs Wallin but I would strongly favour Makmudov to outsize/out strength him. He ain’t a bad bad fighter. He would probably beat Chisora at this stage also.

I live in the USA. They'll just charge me a load of money to take some dodgy pills.

I'd rather stick the cash on Makhmudov & Wilder by KO :D

Think back to the level of his last "comeback" opponent. Then you won't be too disappointed when whatever scrub they scrub up for him gets announced :TU:

Considering the lack of star power in the Heavyweight division at the moment. I don't think people would be disappointed to see Tyson Fury vs Joe Blow at this point. They'd just be glad to have another name in the mix.

Fury vs Wardley would be a big deal for sure. If they can set that up at the end of the year after a tune up it would be huge.

"Lets see how I am looking in my return fight, then later in 2026 [Wardley] would be a good option for me to try become a three-time heavyweight champion. Wardley has a hard fight himself coming up soon," Fury said on social media.

"I know the fight you guys all want but at this time I wont say his name out of respect as he is in mourning," Fury said in regard to Joshua. "But if he is not going to continue in boxing, I'd like Big Fab as a big test. This would also be a massive spectacle."

Tyson Fury will fight a bum.

Hughie Fury will be on the undercard fighting a bum too. What a waste of talent--31 wins, all against bums. It's not like he did too badly when he faced someone good. But he just fights bums.

TYSON FURY-ARSLANBEK MAKHMUDOV TO HEADLINE APR. 11 CARD ON NETFLIX

The Gypsy King is back.

Tyson Fury launches his latest comeback on April 11, facing dangerous heavyweight Arslanbek Makhmudov in a Ring event streaming live on Netflix. After retirement and defeat to Oleksandr Usyk, The Gypsy King looks to silence critics against a heavy-handed challenger. The bout marks Fury’s first fight in 13 months and a high-risk return.
The Gypsy King is back.

Former two-time world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury announced his latest comeback earlier this month and now, it has been confirmed he'll face a fellow giant in Arslanbek Makhmudov on April 11.

Fury-Makhmudov -- a Ring event -- will exclusively be streamed live on Netflix, following on from the platform's success broadcasting Jake Paul-Anthony Joshua in December.

Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) was last in action 13 months ago, losing an immediate rematch with
Oleksandr Usyk for The Ring and unified world titles in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

In the weeks following that 12-round defeat, he retired from the sport and lost his standing as The Ring's No. 1-rated heavyweight to fellow Queensberry stablemate Fabio Wardley.

While recently teasing a domestic duel with WBO beltholder Wardley in future, the 37-year-old will first look to remind critics there's still plenty left in his tank after a series of punishing battles, first with former WBC champion Deontay Wilder and later Usyk.

Canada-based Russian puncher Arslanbek Makhmudov (21-2, 19 KOs) rebounded from an eighth-round stoppage loss to Guido Vianello in 2024, pitching a notable 2025 with contrasting wins over Ricardo Brown and British cult hero Dave Allen four months apart.

Although he was sure to call out Fury's longtime rival Joshua in the aftermath, the 36-year-old acknowledges how big an opportunity this represents with upset potential lurking too.

Very acceptable fight.

Lets be a bit real - He's not a killer, but if Makhmudov have fought a prime Deontay Wilder in a WBC title defence - that would have represented one of, if not THE, best win of Wilder's career.

Wilder was not as his best definitely in his last two fights with Fury - so VICTORY here could actually be Fury's best win since Wilder 1 . Is there anyone since Wilder 1 that Fury has fought that I would favour to beat him - Usyk aside I think the answer is no - maybe Dillion Whyte when they fought.

So this is actually up there - as Froch noted - Fury should be 0-3 in his last three fights. So this is a decent fight for him.

RANDOM THOUGHTS

Fury's last proper win was in 2022 :oo

I thought the first Usyk fight was 6-6 with the knockdown being the difference.

I think Makmu out hustles Fury in this.

Yes

No - Usyk won both fights clear. I had both 9 - 3 upon second viewing and score the fight the same way each time. I can see fight one as 7-5 maximum for Usyk being the kindest I can be for Fury. Fight two - after scoring it very close in a loud noisy pub live - watching again Usyk won that one bigger - 9- 3 Usyk and I cannot see any other round for Fury.

Very very maybe. Its a decent fight.

Canelo Álvarez and his six brothers—Rigoberto, Ramón, Ricardo, Víctor, Gonzalo, and Daniel—made boxing history by fighting on the same professional card on June 28, 2008, in Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico.

Maybe the undercard of this bout could be every Fightin' Fury, including his dad.

How many of them are there?
