Re: Conor Benn Signs with Zuffa Boxing
Suposidly a 1 fight 8 figure (10 million plus) deal…
I just can’t see who it could really be…
Ryan Garcia? (Surely that would of waited on the result of this fight…)
Haney?
Tank?
Pac?
PAC is the only person I can think of that Benn would be favorite against and generate enough for him to make 8 figures….
So I guess Benn is in a live one?

Re: Conor Benn Signs with Zuffa Boxing
Thing is you notice over the years Hearn really really does have a passion for boxing and i think he puts himself on there level , actually does become freinds with some , Benn being one , but Hearn is also a buisnessman and i suspect he can be quite ruthless at times , however with certain ones he puts aside his buisness head and lets his heart take over ,
We read a lot about promoters and we take what we take from what we read , but one thing that interests me about Hearn is what i've never read , i've never read of him not paying , not paying there worth or holding boxers too dodgy contracts and suing them , for me has much has like others i can look and think silver spooned public school boy , i do think he is one of the better more honest promoters around and if he likes you and befreinds you he'll look after you .
Connor well fook him never liked the jumped up prick before , like the ungrateful disloyal prick even less now , but the one good thing about it is mr big note himself will now get his wish , Dana and king tut tut will not be paying him that big money to fight the area champion he'll get his wish and fight someone who is'nt weight drained and comes to win , SEE HOW HE GOES Don't think Mr Bighead relizes himself just how instrumental Hearn has been in his carreer , i think Benn actually does believe he's the real deal , well now he's gonna have to find a weight and prove it , they may give him an easy touch to win a Zuffa belt or whatever they want to call it , but then they will pay massive money for a Garcia or boots ennis to come take it off him

I think it’s hilarious.
Hearn made himself look a right idiot defending the drug cheat & then he leaves him. Unbelievable.
I kind of don’t blame Benn. Anyone who watches the sport closely & doesn’t just get a hard on for his surname knows he isn’t world level. He has to maximise his earnings because he will get found out quickly.
I don’t think he’s a top 5 British & Irish welterweight.
I think Catterall, Crocker, Donovan, Walker & McCormack all beat him.
I don’t know what they’ll do with him if he fights a genuine world class fighter in America because he won’t win a round.

Benn’s a pudendum but let’s not pretend Hearn did it for any other reason than because he saw £ signs.keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑20 Feb 2026, 17:49 Eddie brought him theough, stood by him when no one else did and delivered him two massive stadium fights. aND THE GOOD THING IS i highly doubt the american public will pay to watch him bowl over weight drained Zombies and old ex world champs , so its gonna have to be up to te british public to pay out to see him in uneven fights , thing is WILL THEY DO IT , I know i would'nta force wrote: ↑21 Feb 2026, 04:11 I think it’s hilarious.

Eddie lost his integrity during the whole egg debacle and now he's been made to look a bigger mug, no sympathy, Benn clearly has no morals or loyalty, Hearn can't be whining, he knew more than anyone who he was dealing with, glorious scenes

His solicitor never leaves his side. Even on dates with his wife on social media, he's there.Controversial wrote: ↑21 Feb 2026, 03:17 Not a good look from Benn to only contact Hearn via a solicitor after everything Hearn done to support him and get him back and in big fights that he had no business in being in. Also a rookie error from Hearn, more surprised at him for letting himself get done over like a novice promoter. I bet Dana can’t believe it, he must be pissing himself.

Agreed, I've seen Eddehs interview with Kugan where he comes across as a battered wife an it's hard to feel sorry for him, what I can't believe he let him get out of contract. School boy error.handsofstone wrote: ↑21 Feb 2026, 04:37 Eddie lost his integrity during the whole egg debacle and now he's been made to look a bigger mug, no sympathy, Benn clearly has no morals or loyalty, Hearn can't be whining, he knew more than anyone who he was dealing with, glorious scenes

I am actually in the rare position here of feeling sorry for Eddie.
I don’t think it was all business with Benn. He went above and beyond with him.

I was taught that if your a real man, you do it face to face. Benn wasn't even man enough to speak to Eddie on the phone. Tells you everything you need to know Connor's character.

Benns a proper weasel of a fella with no substance or character
whatever you think of Eddie, and promoters, he did stand by Benn when the whole country was c@nting him off, gave him a few quid, and genuinely backed him and conor wouldln't even give the man a phone call
got no time for people like that, don't give a f**k who you are and how tough you think you are, boxer or ballet dancer if you can't put your cards on the table with another man and have a discussion your a clown

Re: Conor Benn Signs with Zuffa Boxing
Eddie Hearn 'devastated, shocked' as Benn leaves Matchroom for Zuffa
The move has left Eddie Hearn stunned as well.
“I'm pretty devastated. It's not often you get shocked,” Hearn somberly told IFL from his hotel room immediately after the news was revealed.
"I blame myself because I just forgot it was boxing. I just felt that the loyalty that we've shown would never, ever put us in this position. I just felt that I never really needed to push Conor Benn to sign a new contract, previously, and probably could have got him to sign a new contract. But like I said, I blame myself.
"I made a mistake because I misjudged the character. I'm not going to hang him out to dry on it. He will say, 'It was a big offer, right?' But you know, when I received the email from his lawyer, I texted him and said, 'I think we should have a call. I think for everything I've done for you, I think I deserve a call.' And he said, 'No.' I can't believe it.
"I just don't know what to say other than I just felt that everything that we gave him, the loyalty, support, would be enough to talk it through, or just get close to a number. But it wasn't. It wasn't really the interest. So very surprising, very painful. It's another moment in life you live and learn from.”
Benn signed a one-fight, eight-figure deal and will fight no later than May 31, according to Sports Illustrated and DAZN reporter Chris Mannix.
Hearn said he would have gotten "quite close" to the deal Benn signed, if given the chance. After the Zuffa deal was announced, Benn said he would “love Eddie to continue to be part of my team and for our partnership to evolve in this new chapter.” Hearn was unsure if that could be the case.
"Who knows what the agreement is," said Hearn. "I had some very choice words for his manager, Keith Connolly. Conor is, sometimes you live in that world where you lose your head a little bit. You kind of lose an understanding of reality, what is right and wrong. I just feel that the way that it was done was very, very wrong ... some people, loyalty really matters and other people, maybe not so.
"I really lost a lot of my soul during that two-year period [while Benn was dealing with a PED saga]. It was pretty brutal,” said Hearn. "It feels a little bit of a wasted few years. I gave a lot. You know how hard I fought, when no-one believed or backed him, I did. I backed him, never gave in. When he was done, out, I loaned him hundreds of thousands of pounds. Yeah, on we go.
"I blame myself. I got the character wrong. I took the loyalty for granted because of what I did, and I shouldn't have done that. I've made that mistake before in boxing, but just didn't expect it from Conor Benn. So maybe he's not quite the person I thought he was. I don't know. Look, maybe we'll talk in the future, but what can I say?
“At the moment, I'm just digesting it. Yeah, it's a little bit numb. But right now, there is a lot I can say, but we'll keep it classy.”
Benn (24-1, 14 KOs) last fought in November and beat Chris Eubank Jr. in a rematch following a loss against Eubank in the Fight of the Year on April 26. The fights against Eubank took place at middleweight, though Benn plans to continue his career back down at welterweight.

Frank Smith interview was more interesting than Eddie’s. He wasn't that surprised and knew he had it in him.
Re: Conor Benn Signs with Zuffa Boxing
Serious question here forget the loyalty and all that i.ve read he.s gonna get 10...15 mill were sumizing its going to be a Zumma fight in the Uk . So question is WHO can Benn fighgt to generate them figures and even more so WHO can he fight that he can beat all the real big dogs will rip him apart anyone but a big name and it generates a big loss really without Hearn looking after him i can see Benns carreer going downhill he.s reached his pinnacle
