Just this evening I came to the realisation that Rocky Kansas (Rocco Tozzo) belongs in the Hall of Fame. Rocky who was not a big puncher, ended his career with a 109-24-11 (36 KO's) record, but he did post wins over 5 different Hall of Famers. He beat Johnny Dundee twice, and also fought him to a draw. Beat Johnny Kilbane once and also had an ND against him. And had wins over Ad Wolgast, Freddie Welsh and Lew Tendler as well. After failing in his first two bids for a world title against Benny Leonard, the third try was finally the charm for Rocky, when he won the title from Jimmy Goodrich in a 15 round decision. In addition, Kansas beat several other fighters with strong credentials, such as Jake Schiffer, George KO Chaney, Lockport Jimmy Duffy, Frankie Britt, Richie Mitchell, Willie Jackson, Johnny Ray, Charley White and Jack Bernstein.

If the Hall of Fame applied the same ridiculously low standards it uses for heavyweights, to all weight divisions, they'd have to move into a larger building.
