In a way, I reckon Ricky has let the general public down by leaving Frank. I know he has to look out for his own best interests, or at least what he thinks are his own best interests, but we're not going to get to see him fighting on ITV now, are we? That's a shame.

That's why I suspect this cannot just be about money, because I find it very hard to believe that the Hatton's wouldn't want to see Ricky on terrestrial television where he would be a household name.
He has to look out for his best interests of course, and he's free to look around, but I wonder if this won't turn out to be a mistake.
If he goes and loses his title, I can see him being dropped like a hot potato if he goes American.

Agreed, going alone can reap some great rewards both financial and other but i think he is treading a fine line. This can't all be about money though, there must be something else going on as well.

I read here every day pretty much, but mainly try to only post at BA..... trying not to be a forum whore and all that, I do surprisingly little work as it is
