Power =
Force X Distance
______________
Time
Thank you....He lost at Bruce Lee...how many 350 pound power lifters would break a board from an inch away? Yet a 130 pound guy could.
i think u will find that pritty much every 350lb powerlifter would dissolve it, not just break a board an inch away! U ppl seem to know very little about other sports and discipline. These are some of the most powerful humans on the planet. doesnt take much skill to break a board fool. It seems no one on here really understands the true meaning of the word 'power'.
Read what I wrote....from an inch away. So seeing as distance is the same, and mass is in their favor, I GUARANTEE their speed wouldn't even be close. I'm talking literally 1 inch away, not just swinging at the board from behind your ass. I don't think you understand the meaning of relative power, seeing as you're trying to compare guys who are 3 times the size of Amir Khan with Amir in power. That is as dumb as me getting in the batting cages with Barry Bonds, and comparing our hitting power...just a fuckall pointless, stupid, useless comparison.
And please, anytime you want to get in a discussion with me in ANY MAJOR SPORT, except "soccer", teach you a lesson in Basketball, American Football, Hockey, Baseball...whatever you want. If you're feeling froggy, then leap.
Last thing, I doubt you're boxer because you said "boxers are not powerful athletes"...if you believe that, you must be fighting some shitbag fighters.

Without correct technique, nobody would be breaking wooden boards. It's actually very difficult if you don't know what you're doing.
Adoniss you come across as some 15 year old Steroid freak in waiting who whacks off to body building magazines.
This believe it or not is a boxing forum, if you are a boxer, then try talking about boxing, all you have gone on about lately is how powerful weightlifters are and how they are misunderstood.
Fact of the matter is, no matter what angle you want to take, bodybuilding and martial arts are two different, and relatively mututally exclusive disciplines. A top flight boxer could never also be a top flight body builder or weight lifter, and vice versa as the two sets
Mariusz Pudszianowski no matter how fit and supple he might be for a power lifter, would get his ass whupped by even a clubfighter and would never be able to have the stamina of a professional boxer and still compete at top level as a strongman.
It's like saying Michael Johnson could have won the Marathon and held the 400 and 200 tiles at the same time.

R u an idiot! U are all blowing what i say out of context.
Firstly mariusz Pudzianowski was on the polish olympic boxing team and won many amatuer championships. Im not gettin into another discussion about this guy but get real...the guy is a f**kin powerhouse, he'd destroy the heavyweight division in the current state its in.
Ur comparison with Johnson is crap! Get all ur facts.
Now to that fool that thinks powerlifters are slow....
U r mistakin my friend, these are some of the most explosive ppl on earth and if u ever get the oppintunity to meet one at a national level or higher ask him to demonstate just how fast he is! (any weight division) And also i never compared a small boxer to a 300lb powerlifter. Twat, i gave u a couple of a 67/68kg guys as a comparison. Now look at my last thread. It said that power doesnt mean shit unless u got the skill to go with it! That doesnt have to mean u need to be pro standard in both sports, but maintaining a high level in powerlifting (sport specific to boxing of course)and an even higher level in boxing will make u an extremely 'POWERFUL' boxer. Hence my original argument, Khan isnt powerful!
Read what im writing!!
