Well, whilst we are on the subject, I could point out that the christian fundamentalists in America are in fact modern crusaders. After all, they took it on themselves to travel thousands of miles across the world to Afghanistan and Iraq, where they they brought the 'benefits' of democracy to a 'barbaric' and 'unjust' regime.

My point is this, to call someone a christian fundamentalists crusader is hardly an extremely biting insult, it's not the same as calling someone who is muslim a murdering arab terrorist.

I have to say, if Matarazzi knew that Zidane's mother was dying and insulted her like that, then he is a pudendum of the highest order.

Zidane however was a fool to let it blight his career, a moment of madness which he could have done without.

i hope that you are saying this ironically.

Im glad italy won the world cup, they were better team than France, they played more attractive football and they were involved in the best competetive game of the tournament against Germany.

Fact is you cant headbutt someone on the football pitch and expect to stay on, I agree that verbal taunts and racism is deplorable but so is nutting someone.

This world cup has just highlighted what a bunch of shit football is to be honest.

It is no longer a mans game, it rewards snide cheating, from diving to verbals from headbutts to stamps in the groin to trying to get a fellow clubmate sent off.

It merely highlights the fact that most footballers are overpaid, overated, peices of shit with attitude problems.

I wish they would wipe the game off the face of the earth to be honest.
apart from the 1st 30 minutes of the game, France has dominated Italy and has played better all way long...
so what raff apart from the 11th round herol graham was dominating junior jackson.

I was talking over the whole tournament, you were in fact lucky to get through the group stages. Check the result bud, it makes no odds what you think the cup is in Rome. :box:

Anyway get over it mate its only football. :TU:
