Warren said though on BBC report after Lacy that they wouldn't touch Jones unless he beat someone good enough.
Johnson would of only happened if he had beat Woods but he didn't.
Bika's body didn't look ill disiplined and you can't judge his natural weight unless your Bika.
I thought you didn't make things up.
Anyway hear Kessler has offered Joe 20 million Danish Krone which is 1.8 Million in Pounds and 3.4 Million in Dollars.
Good amount of Money though, but can Palle or Kessler afford that amount?
Strange to see that Warren hasn't confirmed Manfredo yet Roach and Seconds Out confirms it before Warren does.

I heard that negotiations were 'stuttering' for this fight and it's unlikely to happen.

So Terry, are you saying Froch would be a better opponent?
A thing that iritates me on here is that people are quick to make assumptions without actually taking the effort to watch the other guy's fights.
In Peter's last 3 fights, he's definetly looked world class. Sure Scotty was old but he still beat him in style. He has an old school style, and a good right hand. I was saying this awhile ago.

I agree. If Froch gets by Dodson, his team should be doing everything they can to try to get him a fight versus Manfredy. It would get him name recognition in the States and is a very winnable fight. I actually think this would made a pretty good match up and is the right sort of step up Froch should be looking at.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see Calzaghe-Froch due to it being an all British fight. If Magee can give Froch all he can handle at 168, then Calzaghe will clean him out.
When does Joe consider the other contenders not worthy? The other contenders are busy.
Manfredo is a contender at SM, ranked top 10 by The Ring and he has more pro experience than Froch too. I wouldn't know who to favour in a Froch-Manfredo fight.

From BBC.
US super middleweight Peter Manfredo Jr claims he has a contract to face Joe Calzaghe in Britain in March.
"We've signed for it, Peter's going to shock a lot of people by outboxing Calzaghe," Manfredo's trainer Freddie Roach told the Seconds Out website.
"Who's Calzaghe fought apart from Jeff Lacy? Peter's far better than Lacy."
Manfredo's main claim to fame is a runners-up spot in the first series of TV series "The Contender". Calzaghe's camp have not yet confirmed the bout.
But the WBO and IBF champion's promoter allegedly has said he is looking for a US fighter who is well-known to the American audience to take on Calzaghe in a planned show in Cardiff in March.
If the Welshman wins, Warren says a "mega fight" will follow in the summer, perhaps against Jermain Taylor in the USA.
Rhode Islander Manfredo, 25, has a record of 26-3 (12 KOs) to pit against 34-year-old Calzaghe's 42-0 (31 KOs) resumé.
He lost a five-round decision to Alfonso Gomez in the heat stages of the $1m Sugar Ray Leonard-backed Contender series, but got the chance to score a revenge win when another competitor pulled out due to illness.
Manfredo, known as "The Pride of Providence", was outpointed by Sergio Mora in the final of the hit show, a result that was repeated in a rematch in October last year.
But since then he has scored a third-round win over super middleweight stalwart Scott Pemberton and a 10th-round stoppage of previously unbeaten Joey Spina.
Calzaghe would be a hot favourite to win a potential bout with Manfredo, and an impressive showing on US TV would boost his hopes of securing a planned mega-fight.

Calzaghe v Manfredo is planned for Cardiff in March. They'll have to work round the Six Nations rugby in that case.

Buying a ticket for a Joe show in Cardiff is riskier than swimming with sharks
I am going to save up to go to the US for the Taylor fight

You could be saving indefinitely. My bet is Calzaghe will never fight over there.

Warren has booked the MEN Arena for March 10... there's a British Title fight on that date but surely that will be headlined by Calzaghe??
