I read this thread some time back, but couldnt comment without registering, even though the subject ired me.
Whoever this Shep guy is he is a very stuburn man. Thats what all this boils down to. A 'reasonable person' can see that John Duddy is legally 'Irish' and legally 'not British'. I cannot see what MR SHEP's problem is. Just change it Shep ffs before you make make this otherwise brilliant website the laughing stock of the boxing world. It takes a good man to admit he was wrong. Do the right thing Shep. Dont ruin the good reputation this site has. Even Wikpedia has John's nationality correct.
On a lighter note, some of you guys earlier in this thread seem to think that John is not much of a boxer. He may not be a champion, but has proven himself a worthy boxer yet again tonight against a tough Howard Eastman.
