Whilst I do not agree with Hopkins actions etc etc you could also argue it is called "hype" and that in someways is good for boxing.

I think Hopkins was wrong to say what he did but I also believe - we live in a politcally correct gone f*cking mad world.

Besides its all a storm in a tea cup - Joe Calzaghe will fight Clinton Woods not Bernard Hopkins

Calzaghe doesn't seem too interested in Woods. He appeared to be excited about it in March 2005 but it seems it may have lost its appeal.

Clinton may have an opening for abig fight. His next IBF repetition mandatory, Glen Johnson, is meant to be fihgting Chad Dawson for the WBC. Or at least eyeing that fight up.

I'd like to see Joe-Woods, but Joe hasn't exactly sounded enthusiastic and despite being anice domestic battle, it will hardly set the world alight.

All I am saying there is a lot of hype and b*llocks going on at this present time - looking at Calzaghe and Hopkins at the Weigh In you would have to say it looked a certainty that fight would take place - however money is getting in the way.

I know Clinton believes the fight with Calzaghe is there - it should be in March - I honestly don't think even with a career high purse and a lot more than W arren previously offered it will be anything like as expensive as Hopkins!!!

All I am saying here is lets see what the next couple of weeks bring.

If it ends up being Hopkins which from what I am being told is doubtful - I sincerely hope Joe Calzaghe smashes him all over the ring - if I were a betting man I would argue Woods is more likely.

I wouldn't mind either fight. For big event atmosphere, Hopkins. For a good scrap, Woods.

Joe does tend to agonise over who he's fighting. Reading the dailies, he'll come out with something different every fortnight.

Woods looks an easy fight to make, especially with both being on Setanta and Woods offering Joe the fight. It's such a natural for Joe, if he needs to move up a weight so badly (yet he says last week he may defend his 168 belts more times, yet this doesn't hold up, with so many mandatories bound to come through soon...).

I think Carlos is quite right. Its not just white men who have made comments like that they have also exploited and oppressed the black community. In this country and the US black people get harsher sentences than do white people.
