What do you expect? Why should they care when they can make a mint. The whole Ricky is just a normal guy thing has always been a load of bollocks.
The Hatton's sold all their tickets and made loads. Do you really expect them to say no in fact keep your millions we'll give tickets to the real fans instead?
Money talks. Why were the majority of tickets £300+ instead of £30. Because they can sell all their tickets at £300. I'm surprised they didn't set face value higher. It could have sold for a lot more.
As for Celebs what do you expect? They're celebs they would have got them no matter.
Frankly who cares. It's the way the world works. if you can't afford the tickets or have to get out a loan don't go. I saved and went to De La Hoya/ Mayweather. It cost me a couple of thousand and meant I couldn't go to Mayweather/Hatton but so be it. You can't have everything in life.

Nope - read the other thread - myself and Kingy roomed together and had quite a week together - spent far too much money enjoying ourselves.

Kingy is like myself an ex squaddie - I like him despite his faults - we had the same sense of humour and as such we got on bloody well. His fist brushed my chin accidentally but contrary to reports he failed to knock me out which says a lot for his boxing abilities - it has to be said when the "accident" happened I was cursing like a silly tw*t.

Myself and Kingy flew out together and flew back together and he even invited me to Thailand but that would have got me into far too much trouble.

Anyhow back to the thread in hand ...

Speaking of ex-squaddies who like sleeping together, is there a chance of you and rhino becoming an item again? I see you have been sniffing around each other in a couple of threads over the last few days.

What's that line you come out with? Something like "I'm not making any accusations, just asking questions."

To back my claim that I would never be involved again - The incident was a conversation which took place between myself and 2 other people - immediately that night I reported that conversation to the appropriate people - I was naive in the extreme to expect that everyone would be working together to make a highly successful promotion - in addition I even spoke to 3 members of this forum whilst I was out there in Vegas - that I knew then I would never return under the same sort of circumstances. 2 members of this forum are active and would back my claims although they do not know what the conversation I refer to was about.

I will repeat and you and others need to get it in your heads - I was not and am still not referring all of this b*llocks just on the Hatton's - that would be wrong of me to do so.

The whole saga concerning tickets on this promotion in my opinion was wrong - it was outrageous for so many Travel Agents to have had their hands on so many tickets and to then make a considerable mark up on those tickets.

The only thing I will quite openly blame Team Hatton for is - they had the forsight to negoitiate a very very good deal for Ricky - yet they failed to get a good deal for the fans in that in my opinion the allocation of 3,900 tickets for Hatton fans was derisory.

Fair point. BC is entertaining enough and throws stuff up but the other side of the story is that if there is one sniff of criticism against allegedly on here he'll run it straight to his boss and the strand will be ran straight off the forum. Any really bad stuff will see this helpful guy ensure that Boxrec, and the poster if possible one day, gets hit hard.

They are not the Robin Hoods of blabber mouthing. Taking information from the closed camps and spreading it amongst fellow fans for the love of transparency in the sport. We are not seeing a huge up swell in altruism here. Just two axes grinding away.

A lot of you are saying 'so what, that's life' about the ticket situation. This is certainly pragmatic but a bit defeatist - especially when we have to suffer the 'man of the people' charade. Deep down I certainly believe it to be true but it didn't extend to a lot of fairness for his legion of fans.

There are a lot of people on here pushing their own agendas because they are involved with promoters or used to be - it's difficult to cut through the nonsense. And when you do...the lawyers come calling anyway!

How can somebody back you up if they don't know what it's about? Do you have the kind of friends here who would show blind faith to you under any circumstances.
