Dont believe what you hear. Check out the Boxing Monthly coverage, most the ringside journalists give the nod to Holyfield....and Boxing Monthly is of course edited by the fierce longtime LL supporter, Herr Leach.

Anyway, Evander just didn't get close to Lewis often enough in either of those fights. He boxed well 2nd time but I think giving him 5 rds is a bit of a stretch. Regardless, it was one of the least memorable rivalries ever. Those 2 just didn't gel in the ring.

The only way you can believe Holyfield won the rematch is if you actually thought the first fight was a draw, or even close...

Lewis won both fights.
