The nature of the game is such that there are many, many boxers who have lived less than perfect lives (as well as some wonderful people) and I think as a rule that magazines deal with the sportsman rather than the person - reference the recent death of "Chico" Corrales, who had had his less than stellar moments outside of the ring. Printing a photograph of Berbick's corpse - well, it seems pretty incongruous to me.

(I'm assuming that it was the only photo of the man printed - sorry if I'm wrong on that point)

He used to do previews in BN for a time so I am surprised you havent seen any of his work.

I think the 'Bennie' screen name is probably a homage to Briscoe, although I could be wrong!

berbick is well pumped up for it.

berbick keeps wanting to square up to holmes at the end of rd's. poor mills lane gets tossed aside by berbick after one of the rds.
