Sure, he should never have had a loss to that no vowel Pole, but he should have had a loss to Jones on his record.
Marco Huck was very much unproven.
He hasn't legitmately beaten anyone who I stands out head and shoulders above Braithwaite.
I rate him and thinks he beats Enzo, but he's far from an outstanding proven champion - he's only made one defence of a vacated title.
Overall I would say he was #2, but I'd have no complaints if someone considered Enzo #2.
not seen the jones fight.
won on pts didn't he.
i don't recall people saying it was a robbery though.
hopefully cunningham-adamek comes together.

Noticeably, he knew about Cunningham, Banks but not the Europeans.
I'm not knocking Buncey because he does do his homework and he's great telly but it seemed ungracious and undermined his role as the expert on the show.
As someone has said there are plenty of those guys with "a k,v or z in their name" that would give Enzo grief.
Forget Swaby, Scott or Haye the fight that told me more about Enzo was the Ismal Abdoul, Enzo couldn't put a glove on him and he stood there with his hands in front of his face for 12 rounds, the one time he opened up Enzo nearly laid an egg.
this I guess explains why Haye has taken over from Hatton (before that Audley) as FW's little pet gripe in his crappy newspaper column.....seems not a week goes by without a new pop at Haye...who I can imagine reads it and chuckles inwardly!

You may have opinions there fella but do you not think its best you put them accross in a more professional way

You are probobly right, but I don't work in boxing anymore so if the mood takes me, I have a spew-fest. Can't help it.

Funny you say all this Ant, as your behaviour isn't a million miles away from Enzo's - when you were trying to put people down with your 'facts' regarding Boxing Monthly's sales etc in a previous thread, and were then informed you were completely incorrect, you simply disappeared from the forum rather than act in a mature manner and acknowledge you were wrong. Ah, the irony of it all...

That's news to me, I had Cunningham beating Jones by 3 points.
I did score his first fight with Wlodarczyk a draw, if I recall.

There are rumblings on the British ESB forum that Enzo will indeed face Alexeev and not WBO #1 Banks on September 6 on the Arthur card, as Banks won't be ready for a title fight so soon after his latest fight.

I was most disgusted by Enzo's hairdo on the night, his performance came in a close second. His corner a close third. If they cared about him in any way, they'd have whipped out a comb during the first and second!

Now it's looking like Enzo v Banks. Vacant WBO. Thought Banks wasn't ready for a shot. And that Alexeev was rated above Mac.
WTF is going on here?
Has Alexeev got another high ranking with a different sanctioning body?
Enzo will chase Banks out of the ring.

Being harsh on Banks here. Hot arena, away from home.
I still think he gives Enzo trouble.
Macca is not without flaws, lest we pretend Haye is so faultlessly brilliant as to entirely excuse the facts on show last time out.
I'm sure Macca will do better. But Banks is not going to be as easy as some of the fighters Enzo has built his rep.

Hot arena, away from home, little preparation, an opponent who didn't want to fight.
But he's still not very good. I've seen Banks a few times. If he was good, he would have shown more by now.
Enzo's a good enough fighter to win this inside. He has flaws, but he'll want this title & Banks will be away from home again.
I'm more interested in Alexeev.

Not as badly as that IMO. And you should see the website.
It gets updated about one a month, and the guest book has died a death :(

This thread raises more questions than answers:
Who is the Boxing News, Spice Girl banging writer?
What is this much discussed "big mistake" that Enzo Mac apparently made? Getting knocked out? Hmm, i suppose in hindsight that was a mistake alright.
Will Enzo get through the first four rounds against the quality Alexeev?

I'm guessing Claude Abrams as he has a distict resemblance to Jimmy Gulsaar(sp), Scary Spice's first hubby
