I think it's easier to root for Khan when he fights someone about his own size. If the little guy hurts Khan, I always want the little guy to finish him.

Moses would be interesting. Seems like a strong enough bloke with slightly above average skills. He has a good win over Kudriatsev, away from home.

Will Khan dump the Commonwealth title soon, in favour of minor international belts?

were you this confident when amir was dropped by an old, shot, never world class, 100/1 for rounds, Michael Gomez? if gomez had landed a couple more the circus could have been over by now. Thankfully it rolls on, and I'll have more money down when it gets derailed for good.

i hate to sound like a 'nut hugger' but does anyone actually think that khan was hurt when he got dropped of gomez ??

he was hurt from limond and watson, but defo not gomez, it looked more like over eagerness and frustration from not stopping him as quick as he thought he would

is this a voluntary defence ? how does the commonwealth ratings system work in terms of viable opps? there really isnt much in the lightweights. Audley went through the same thing years ago...in the sense that the only decent opps around were the british guys.

however if i was fwank i might go for the super feather aussie William kickett...hes got a fight in july...should be 12-0 and hes got a points win over gary st clair.... seems a good choice

Derek Gainer is back in the frame and looking most likely to be the opponent for the 6th of September.

Either way, there should be an announcement next week.

Isn't Paulus Moses the Namibian puncher, managed by Phillipe Fondu? He is well travelled and hits hard but i'm sure i read somewhere that he was offered step-aside money so others could fight for a title. What's the story there?

Yeah Moses is with Fondu who i know. That fight won't happen. Moses will face Kobari for the regular WBA Lightweight title sometime this year.
