Or am I making the Forest bit up?
As for Emile Heskey being the striking version of Titus Bramble, Wes Morgan is the Titus Bramble version of Titus Bramble.

He's like Bramble without the one good game a season.

Forest could play a handgrenade at centre half and be less destructive.

If captain is use to watching the Blue square premier i would have thought Heskey looked like Ronaldo to him
He does a bit, they both have a fat gut. Stylewise there's a chasm...

Tit?

Why didn't you say Cristiano Ronaldo then, as the other one is better known, is only known as RONALDO and is a former world player of the year.

Or does your knowledge only stem from the Premier League to the Championship - 2000-2008.

Karl Conolly made Ronaldo (both) look like Matt Elliot, he was a legend :)

PS Matt Elliot was shite :) so was Tony Cottee....

Newcastle would kill for two Matt Elliots right now, a Robbie Savage, a Muzzy Izzet and an Emile Heskey and O'Neil in charge.

Is this 'deluded Leicester City fan' day?!

If that's the case they could just do with a Martin O Neill because they have better players than Savage and Elliott! They did well under O'Neill, but most people seem to.

O'Neill would be perfect for the Toon, but he's going nowhere. Villa are doing things the right way...

Have to agree with Payne, Matt Elliott was the shit! Saints almost signed him before he went to Leicester.

A very good goals per game ratio for a Prem CB.

As a Forest fan I can only conjure what he might have done had he gone to Forest instead of Frank Clark, who did OK, or when he took Celtic job.

Villa are a model for every club outside the financial elite.

Common sense prevails at Villa Park.

Yeah he's a Forest legend, reckon he has it in his heart to manage you guys one day?

Calderwood will do until Cloughie is done at Burton Albion.

But I would walk over broken glass to get him to the City Ground. But no, I dont think O'Neil would leave Villa Park except for England or Manchester United, maybe Liverpool.

Although interestingly, Villa spent more this summer than any of the 'Big 4'.

I reckon O'Neill gets the United job when Sir Alex hangs em up. He's up there in the top few managers in the world IMO.

It's a travesty that Barwick and his band of window-lickers didn't give Martin O'Neill the England job instead of that prick from Boro! England would have qualified for the Euros, the Pub trade would have got a much needed boost, we'd have gone on to win the tournament giving the nation a massive feel good factor, which would have kickstarted the economy and all would have been rosey!! Instead of this imminent financial and economic meltdown that we find ourselves in. I HOPE YOU'RE SATISFIED MacLaren!

:TU:

We get grief in the papers about the alleged 70 million we spent, yet we bought in more due to sales!
Villa have done nigh on 50 million whilst bringing in hardly anything.

O'Neill is loved by the press though so this will never get brought up.
Top manager, although he is the most passive aggressive man in the whole world!

Almost feel sorry for the Geordies...then you hear the "we are the biggest club in Europe", "best fans in the world" tosh, and you realise why it's impossible to feel for them!

  Elliot was the dogs, he has his sunday roast at the same restaurant as me and Lewis Moody, Savage a true battler, and how can you say Tony Cottee was shit, you talk about my knowledge of the game when it's clear to see you know sweet FA

Joe Kinnear is the worst appointment as caretaker since Ian Huntley.

I want to know how Kinnear knows that Kevin Keegan is going to be the next manager (again)! :-?

How could an interim manager possibly know who the next owner/s will choose as manager?

Can life get any worse for a Newcastle fan?

Well I suppose it could if they were diagnosed with a terminal illness.

By the way Newcastle fans bring this on themselves with their delusional "we're a big club" nonsense, they set their standards far too high and demand big name signings and instant success. It's pathetic really, the great Liverpool teams of the 70's and 80's and the Manchester United teams of the last decade or so weren't built overnight were they?

I don't think they've even got an international fanbase.

2-0 down at half time. So I guess it does get worse for a Newcastle fan.

Hands of O'Neill! We want him to stay with us!
