DG. wrote: Martinez was an UNKNOWN!!!!

RW was the Champion.

A shot imo would have been against a Big 4 Title Holder as discussed 2 pages back.

Wake up!
:TU:
So he should have got such a shot on the basis of LOSING TWICE to an "unknown"? (your own words)
Mate - unknown does not mean he was shit.

Remember Goyo Vargas and Hodkinson?
Remember Eamaom Loughran Vs the mexican fella the giuy who later took Ike Quartey to a draw? I forget the name. Lopez?

Martinez was and still is a very good fighter - WBC Number 1 also,

Oliver Mate,

Even Hagler lost fights - he lost against lesser men than Martinez.

I respet all fighters who step into the ring regardless of certian posts but..

Takaloo lost to Jawaid Khaliq still fought Santos after.
Alexander lost Mellis was STILL lined up t fight to fight for the WBO until knocked out in 1 by a journeyman.
Locket to Tsarenko still fought Pavlik after.

YET THEY STILL GOT WORLD TITLE SHOTS - RW deserved his shot at the big 4.

As James Toney would say....

Next!

:TU:

Lets get one thing clear I just believe RW talents were better than all the other light middle in the UK but imi the others had an easier route and more opportunities.

I respect all your opinions so let not get too carried away!

RW is retired now and does not have to concern hmself with this stuff.

Enjoy the food, Richard!

They had shots DG, the fighters you mentioned, were they deserved shots? No.

And while Gary Lockett did very little really post Tsarenko - Williams did even less.

The only one who DESERVED a shot was the one who established himself as the best out of the Alexander, Roberts, Tak, Farnell, Samuels, Lockett, Williams etc... as none of them were world class... problem was, none of them did.

All abput opinions.

My opinion is RW can eat as much good cooked food as he wants.

Nice!

Another DG thread to bring out the best (DG-T,diddly,OF,SJ - Banjo etc ) and the worst ( KG - HitmanHatton1) of Boxrec

Terry D wrote:You got the running order wrong DG. Chakadiddly at #1 :TU:

No need to worry, in a strange alternate world Richard became a world title-holder. In that world James Toney is going to be P4P #1 when he retires, and Michael Dokes is the third best boxer ever. A full explanation will be given soon, only not on Boxrec.

Hagler never 'lost' a fight. They were stolen from him.

Chakadiddly it is!

I forgot that Hagler NEVR loses - badass!

Diddly -Lets go back further - to Rakim - the GOD! Think twice before you battle DG! A bit of light hearted relief.
Rap it Boxrec - Rakim Allah style!
No competition
...
No competition
...
Competition is none, DG remain at the top of Boxrec like the sun
And I burn whoever come in the chambers of torture
I caught ya, you shoulda brought ya
Neighborhood to support ya
No one in my path will withstand
Under pressure the wrath of a swift man
You name the day, the grounds to be neutral
Speak your piece, the feeling's mutual
We can go topic from topic whenever I drop it
Try to stop it
In other words, what the brother heard
He tried to catch it, but what occurred
Was too much weight for one brain to take
Try to concentrate maintain then elevate
Program an ounce from pound to pound
The matter of weight can't hold my mind down
Permanent damage, I do away with
No time for fun, cause I don't play with
Competitors, there's only one when I'm done
Competition is none
...
No competition
...
Competition is none, I'm the soul survivor
MC's get live but I get liver
It ain't a Memorex, live in concert
At every network, the R the expert
Whoever goes against causes friction
Introduction music where's the mixing
Ra will never die, tools they never try
To beat or defeat me, because whenever I
Put poetry in motion
>From the Nile, then out into the ocean
Three-fourths of water makes seven seas
A third of land three-sixty degrees
I circulate and remain to rotate
Seven days a week at a quake or a slow rate
Be prepared whenever I come
Competition is none
...
It's no competition
...
Creator, the alphabets let's communicate
When I translate the situation's straight
No dictionary's necessary to use
Big words do nothing but confuse and lose
>From the first step, a concept was kept
To the end of the rhyme, it get more in-depth
All thoughts I come across, my mind's the source
Made by the R, of course
Seven holes in my face as I'm lookin out my window
Speak with the beat and it seem like the wind blows
Through the speakers, I hear it so pump this
And we can fill up the whole circumfrence
With competition, on an impossible mission
Comin up with nothin, keep fishin
No runner up, just lost or forfeits
They all get butterflies, soon as the dog gets
Unlocked, lines for blocks and blocks
Might be triflin, to call the cops
Bring along paramedics
But that won't help you, not even calisthetics
I'm God, G is the seventh letter made
Rainin on rappers, there's no parade
So if you ain't wise, then don't even come
Competition for this inter mixin is none
...
It's, no competition
...
Competition is none

So just agree with DG!

Plus, Terence. How many letters in that name. Seven. What is the first letter of my surname? D. Another 7. Six letters in my surname. Add 7 + 7 + 6 = 20 and divide that by my two names and you get 10. Ten commandments. God, Jesus, the Holy Ghost and Moses. Neckadiddly is the embalmer, the chosen one, like Eddie Murphy, but not Edward Murphy.

God sent me to Boxrec to keep an eye on DG!
