Yeah part of the selection process is fitness. 10.2 on the bleep test, and 44 pressups within 2 minutes, and 50 sit ups within 2 minutes.

Can he get cialis? I need this more......

And whilst you're chatting to him, ask him for a pill that allows you to understand irony if such a thing exists.

Come on now, you can't be being ironic when you say this is a serious thread about the Sachs v Ross and Brand thing.

You are missing the point, maybe she doesnt live like a Nun, that is not the issue. Using BBC radio to abuse people is the issue. I see a certain member of Oasis has put his four-penneth in and shown his support for Brand and Ross. No surprise really.

You know Banjo was a paratrooper because he spent 5 years being one and will spend the next 86 years boring everyone about it!

Can a mod change Banjos username to 'Uncle Albert'

Talking of which, did you know Spud was in the pathfinder platoon?

Wilson becoming a rupert? Good luck with Sandhurst mate! :TU:

PS: Woss and Bwand - They don't have any talent - no they don't - Woss is a good presenter? So what! I bet I would be 10 times better than that prick for 1/10th of his salary!

Bwand is a shoe in for the latest reality show 'Celebrity firing squad' - and I would spend every last penny of my savings voting for the twat!

The BBC must try to uphold standards, who wants to hear stuff like that on radio. Even if Brand did have it off with the granddaughter, saying so in that context is really bad stuff and not at all funny. I am all for the press shaming the pair. What I dont understand is the program was pre recorded, so why didnt the producer have it edited out, hes to blame also. I remember when the F word was first used in a live TV program by newspaper editor, Kenneth Tynan back in 1966. The BBC got into a lot of trouble over that and the newspapers were just the same then by putting it on the front page. This to me is far worse, having a crack at a highly respected ageing star of a classic comedy series, who has also been the "voice" on countless documentories. Why the BBC pay Ross all that money, beggars belief in a world where people are starving and dont have proper shelter, especially as he isnt all that funny. I hope they sack him, Brand has already resigned presumably guessing his fate. In a world where people are not showing enough respect for others, especially their elders, the BBC has a duty to make a stand and make an example of people who abuse others using their programs to do so.

By the way I dont know if Im the only one who remembers what Russell Brand looked and spoke like 5 years ago when he first started little brother.

He didnt wear this gothic/edmund blackadder II clothing for one thing. His hair wasnt that long. He didnt have any facial hear, and he had braces. Frankly he looked geeky and didnt have much prescence. Obviously he got hold of a good image firm and stylists as well as a bit of plastic surgery and contrived this rock star image. fact is he has only had so many breaks cos he's from hampstead us jewish and well connected.
As for sachs grandaughter she is slut and publicity seeker and brand was right to shag her up the arse and dump her, but picking on manuel was downright evil and thats what this is about.

Exactly. Who really gives a f**k. The bigger question is why did this women sleep with Rusell Brand in the first place. He's an ugly streak of piss and she must have known he's a slapper as well. Yet she's shocked when he brags about it on a radio show interview and leaves a messages on her grandad's answerphone.

F**king twat!
All spot on ,except the bit about leaving messages on her grandads answerphone and broadcasting it to the nation.

Ross is a curious subject.

At base level I dont like him, I dont like his arrogance (though I realise this is his faux schtick) but it doesn't entertain me. Neither do I like the interview style, sat up higher than his guest and failing to allow them to speak, its like - can you stick up to the whitty bullying or not. If you can or cannot he just wraps it up with, "hasn't she been wonderful ladies and gentleman" - roughly translated to "dont hit me, I'm just pretending to be a lothsome toad".

And yet, like his interview with both Tony Curtis and Faye Dunaway - he was respectful, observant and offered a solid platform for the two to share the anecdotes of their careers.

Parky was on the same show, and in typical Yorkshire style hit the nail on the head.

"You're a good interviewer Jonathan, when you allow yourself to be".

Personally, different though it would be, I'd like to Simon Mayo to get this type of show - he's a very economic, precise but affable interviewer on 909.

I got paid £17K per year for putting my balls on the line yet some nancy boy and a long haired prick(or should that be pwick  ) get paid millions for naff all
They've no talent - which is why Russell Brand has sell out tours, and Ross's show has some of the highest viewing figures on terrestrial TV.

They are paid what the market will bear, just like footballers, singers, and other entertainers.

You chose a career that paid you 17k a year, nobody forced you - why didn't you go and become a chat show host if it is so easy. It's easy to criticise, but why don't you have a go at getting up on Camera and performing to cue, I've had to do it once, and it's far from bloody easy to do it and look natural, and be amusing and hit all yours cues.

Envy is a wasted emotion.
Give him a chance and he would be happy to I bet. You dont seem to understand the point is guys like brand and ross get the chance cos they are jewish and use that. everyone knows the jewish cartel runs the BBC and always has done!

Cannot stand the pair of them. Woss has been too near the mark many a time, especially when interviewing women on his show. Anyone remember when Gwyneth Paltrow was on his show? He said ho he would like to fcuk her! Should receive a good hiding saying such things, no respect at all.

Brand is just a fcuking prick, he's like a schoolkid. Can't bear his voice at all. I don't see how he pulls in thses big audiances via the radio because he's like Peter Pan FFS! At least Brand resigned, Woss hasn't & won't! The BBC are too fcuking scared to sack Woss. Mind you, they would save themselves a few quid if he were sacked!

If I see either of them in the street I'd soon tell them what I think of them!

I don't know why anyone cares. Russell Brand? I don't even know what he does. Ross is a good talk show host, but I agree that this is being blown out of all proportion by the media who clearly have nothing better to write about.

Its out off order , they publicly embarressed a old man , to try and get a few laughs. reminds me off a couple off years ago , we were out for dinner , cross section on the table , half who did'nt know each other , one bloke intelligent guy who had a answer for everything was belittling people he did'nt know , being a smart arse to try and get a cheap laugh at every ones expense, towards the end off the night he was getting smutty with the women , anyhow this guy i did'nt know him, just about had enough and said to smart arse , enough is enough mate cut it out , he got a quick witted reply which shot him down , he then said to smart arse if you make another smutty remark to my wife i'll bang you one , too which he got another witty remark most laughed and made the guy feel silly , smart arse then gave him a lecture about how it was alright to belittle, and take the piss, out off people has long has it was funny , .he made another smart comment and this guy , quick has a flash came back and gobbed a big greeny in the smart arses face , he then said thats funnier than your jokes , half fell about laughing half were stunned but smart arse got up left claiming he had been assulted.

I'd like to gob right in there faces , and ask them if they think its funny cos i would .

i think he's good at what he does.

obviously 6m a year is ludicrous money.
