Yeah good call, he posted on here and the Doghouse for years, but haven't seen him about in a good whilestujones wrote:There was former? Lightweight domestic contender Dynamite Dean Phillips - haven't heard from him in a while, hope he is doing good. He seemed to have a good head on his shoulders.
Dale Robinson used to post as Richter Scale I think.Thundercat wrote:Didn't Dale Robinson post on Boxrec a while back
Dean seemed a decent enough guy, but was predominantly on the board for self-promotion - when his comeback didn't play out as he'd hoped, he soon disappeared. Everyone's got their own agenda, so I can't knock him too much, but it is a shame when you get 'fair weather' posters....Chambers2 wrote:Yeah good call, he posted on here and the Doghouse for years, but haven't seen him about in a good whilestujones wrote:There was former? lol...never heard that comment before.."'fair weather' posters". When I was fighting I was on these boards because I was generally interested in what was going on with the sport. When I finished, that interest finished as well. At the end of the day, boxing is just another stepping stone in your life, people get careers/finish them and move onto something else. Which is what I did.
Cheers
