You have to be fornicating kidding me. I missed a couple of rounds, due to my router fornicating up my stream, but Valuev needed to score about 5 knockdowns in those rounds to get a draw on my card. Which he quite clearly didn't.

The phrase 'Robbed' is overused, but fornicate me, it applies to that fight.

It was one of the worst fights I've ever seen but the wrong man won that. Holyfield is now so awful but Valuev didn't do a thing.

Rematch coming no doubt about it. Which in all honesty is good for Evander because he needs the money.

It was always going to happen, Holy would have had to knock him out to win

Worst heavyweight 'title' fight ever.

Worst decision ever.

I think you'd have a case for both. Feel sorry for Evander, though he didn't exactly cover himself in glory. Never deserved to get screwed like that, though.

Right-o lads, I'm off to bed.

Merry Xmas & kushti bok to all who deserve it, an evening depillating Nikolai's back to all those who don't.

This has been a Datsue RBR.

Thank you & goodnight.

pathetic  theres no way that pudding should of left with the belt. Ok, a boring fight, but Evander beat the man in front of him on the night and has been clearly robbed.

To finish 2008 we have seen the biggest injustice of the year. I feel sorry for Holyfield, for all his dog determined sheer will, at 46 years old he actually beat someone for a title only to be shafted by the judges.

I would like to hear how all three Judges go about scoring a fight???? :witzend:

Definitely was. There's no way anyone could make a case for Valuev winning the fight. Holyfield dominated.

i have just done me nuts as , the worst robbery ever imo

sky sports say this
But it was Valuev who controlled the fight at long-range for the most part with some solid but unspectacular jabs.

were they watching a differnt fight or am i talking though my pocket.

I didnt see the fight myself.
I was reading RBR elsewhere, mostly scandinavians doing it, that most had the fight close with Holyfield leading with 1-2 points on most of the cards. It is a totally different world to see the RBRs here where only a couple it close/Valuev winning. Hope to see the fight myself later. The female fight showed before the Valuev vs Holyfield fight is said to be a real robbery. Many had one of the fighters winning every round, but it was still scored a draw.

I would love to see this fight, regardless of how boring it was. Is it possible for someone to please guide me to a link of some sort so I can watch it, or won't the fight be on the net yet?

Don't feel particularly sorry for Holyfield although I will say this to be fair, in his post fight interview he was quite dignified and actually said pretty much the same as he said after the first Lennox fight regarding "Judges scored it as they saw it etc etc" so at least he isn't a hypocrite on that score!

I know I will get my arse tore out on here for this, but I had it 115-113 for Valuev. I didn't care too much for Evander's super negative approach and his dancing around waiting to counter what Nikolai threw. It was a shit fight, but there were some rounds were Holyfield only threw one set of punches in the entire round. Valuev didn't throw anything meaningful too, but at least he threw consistently and did easily eclipse what Evander threw - which was close to nothing in some rounds. If Evander wanted to win with negative that style then he needed to land more frequently, if only two or three times more a round - he didn't and it cost him the fight.

Just my opinion, so when you do rape my opinion, please be gentle.
