Hatton did a bit of fouling, but just as much as Mayweather did on Hatton in Vegas. You win some, you lose some.

For me Hatton's on the P4P list, and once he beats Pacquiao then he's going to top it.

Say, no, no, no all you like - he'll still be number one on my list, sexy pants.

Say Hatton does beat Pacquiao I'd have him in the top 5, maybe as high as 3 but JMM, Calzaghe and Hopkins would all be in the discussion for #1. I guess it would all depend on how Ricky beats Pac for me, a close decision and he is at or around 5, a difinitive KO win and it'd be hard not to put him at #2 or 3.

A PBF elbow? Watch it again and count the number of elbows and forearms Floyd sticks in Hatton's face, without being warned.

Ric Flair should put an end to this thread; http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=yjW9UXoKU2s As none of you style or profile like him, consider the debate moot.

Woo!

Ric Flair never would have beaten Ali at the time, so he was never "The Man"

. Watch hatton fights and you will see how he uses his head and gloves to make space for his punches to land. Floyd just outsmartrd him amd knocked him out. Simple as that. Also watch how hatton holds in the iranho fight. Tough titties! Hatton is not p4p top ten in my book. Lol

Hatton had a cold against Urango, one which his team wanted him pulled out because.

And whoever disputed that Hatton doesn't use his elbows and head to make room? I didn't.

I think it was a round about way to say Ricky has been known to fight dirty by mauling, holding ect. Floyd "out dirtied" Ricky in their fight.

I agree with the notion that Floyd beat Hatton at his own game, which is correct, and what I never disputed.

dg you dont half post some cretinous shite.

what a waste of my lunchbreak.

do us all a favour and just keep out of any discussion to do with Hatton.

Your one eyed view ruins what could be a decent discussion.

thanks.

Really though, Floyd only beat Hatton at his own game because the ref wouldn't let Hatton fight his game, but seemed to have little problem with Floyd doing it.

Result would have been the same regardless, but might have been more interesting.

Diuofy,

I hope you know it is all good natured harmless fun when I put you down etc. :TU:

Its a forum and I am sure you do not take it to heart, unlike the resident (not often, thank god) Lesbian called J - known to us as Josephine.

Not tonight J(osephine) - you are boring!

I do think Hatton is part of what is wrong with P4P - Hatton has not beaten a REAL pound for pounder since KT - just my take.

Beating Pacman puts him in the mix for the top ten, bit based on his opposition since KT (wins) not in the top half.

Hatton deserves to be top 10 if he beats Pacquaio, but don't know about top 5, he's fighting a guy who has had only one fight above 135, and that against a very weight drained and ineffectual Oscar.

Pacquaio has no pedigree above 135, and his pedigree at 135 consists of a single fight.

For those reasons, if Hatton wins, I think we have to take the victory with some sort of pinch of salt.

Although Bernard moved to the top 3 P4P based on beating a guy with one fight at Middleweight.

I think the manner of Pacquaio's win at 135 and win at 147 is pretty important when considering his P4P status.

Had Jirov faced and beat Roy Jones at Cruiserweight after Jones' exploits at Heavyweight his P4P ranking stock would have increased, just as Tarver's was.
