Re: Dolan all set

Good on Dolan for putting himself in the mix like this so early. I'll watch him again for sure. He doesn't lose anything being involved in fights like this.
It's all possible.........I only saw my first 5 minute 10 second round last week in the Urango fight.whatashambles wrote:Was a 116-109 scorecard possible? Couple of the KD's were debatable, so maybe the judges didn't score themPongsaklek wrote:116-109 to the winner in a fight he gets knocked down in two different rounds and a total of three times is very creative scoring. Dolan won at least four rounds imho.![]()
How can they not score them?Old bones Ian wrote:Couple of the KD's were debatable, so maybe the judges didn't score themPongsaklek wrote:116-109 to the winner in a fight he gets knocked down in two different rounds and a total of three times is very creative scoring. Thanks. I saw the Huck vs Battelo fight but must have missed Licina.Dioufy wrote:I have only seen him once, on the Huck Vs Battelo undercard. He looked okay, although he did get put over, but he did recover quite quickly and stopped his man later in the fight with some great shots. I will keep my eye out for him in future fights.Asterix wrote:Does anyone know anything about Enad Licina?
Well i don't know the rules exactly, but i thought the judges are lead by the ref, but do not always have to agree, i could be wrongHorse wrote:How can they not score them?Old bones Ian wrote:Couple of the KD's were debatable, so maybe the judges didn't score themPongsaklek wrote:116-109 to the winner in a fight he gets knocked down in two different rounds and a total of three times is very creative scoring. It was a good fight. I'm more of a fan of higher level boxing, but it was really good.steve689 wrote:I didn't see the fight but I must confess that given Norton-Steeds I expected this would be a stinker and gave it a wide berth. However, it turned out to be one of the best rbr's we have read here![]()
Whoever mentioned Enad Licina...seen him 3 or 4 times now and he has nice skills, good basic boxer but seems fragile and I reckon he would fold like an envelope if you "stuck it up him" so to speak! Not convinced he's top level material and Sauerland will match him carefully.
It was a punch. The angle from the corner made it look like a head, but another angle showed Norton's chin was hit right on the tip.Dioufy wrote:Sexy fight - I had it 112/111, which is a bizarre score. And didn't that second KD in the 4th come from a head, not a punch?
I thought so.Dioufy wrote:And didn't that second KD in the 4th come from a head, not a punch?
It's funny, he looked small at Heavyweight but looks just as small at Cruiser. Maybe Light Heavy should be his next target.Hagler2002 wrote:Dolan was very small in there tonight, I wouldn't be surprised if he could make SM
Mr Bilton could stop a moving train, I'm glad I seen this thread before getting involvedAsterix wrote:I think Dolan will win.Hagler2002 wrote:I was going to have a decent size bet on Dolan @ 5/4 until I seen this thread :(
Norton it is then.
Now you see why I don't bet real money.Hagler2002 wrote:Mr Bilton could stop a moving train, I'm glad I seen this thread before getting involvedAsterix wrote:I think Dolan will win.Hagler2002 wrote:I was going to have a decent size bet on Dolan @ 5/4 until I seen this thread :(

Do you work at the 'Jockey'Old bones Ian wrote:Both boxers look up for this, Norton looks in great shape.
I've left work at 9.45, and it was all going a bit pete tong there, had to break up a cat fight, and the local dope dealer was trying to get in the project.
