I was there that night too, FW is often criticised for putting on poor shows but this one was top notch, real quality entertainment

Danny did show tremendous courage but his corner was abismall that night. I remember Williams was getting pummeled, & his corner were saying things like "you can get through this" when it was painfully obvious that he getting a hiding!
There's encouragement & then there's foolishness. Williams' cornermen were the latter. Danny was spent long beofre the fight finished & I for one feel his corner should have pulled him out before the finish. Vitali pushed Danny around like he was a baby. The difference in strength was glaring.
