Postponed to April 11 :TU:
Garcia vs. Barrera, on April 11

In April, two Cordoban fight for world title. The other is Antonio Ospino Pitaluá 4 next month.

Writing. Was postponed until next April 11, the battle of the Mexican Raul 'glimmer' Garcia, world champion Minimum (105 pounds) of the International Boxing Federation, with the Colombian challenger Ronald "El Indio" Barrera.
The fight should take place today in Guadalajara, Mexico, and although not made public the reasons for the postponement, it appears that the group that manages the monarch requested the date change for 'glimmer' Garcia arrived with a very good preparation, which advances in the Mexican capital.

'El Indio' Barrera, born in Puerto Escondido 26 years ago, works to pace around in the gym of the company in Barranquilla and Quadrangle expected charge revenge for the defeat suffered by the decision to the same opponents in February last year, in a eliminatory lawsuit. Four months after the Mexican was crowned world champion.
"We fought once with Ronald Barrera in the championship round by the Minimum FIB. It is a strong opponent and I think you win again, so we're going to train very hard. With the postponement of almost 15 days, we to train a lot better, "said 'glimmer' Garcia.

Now I take much more interest in boxing betting for profit. I trawl forums for nuggets of information. I post previews with betting advice on an Australian website at http://www.puntingace.com/boxing/selections.html

My results show a consistent profit 8)

Hey, i'm new here. After visiting this site and britishboxing everyday for the last year or 2, thought i'd get into the forums.
Been into boxing for years and off to see the Commonwealth show Between Sexton and Rogan in Belfast this May!!
I espically enjoy following the British upper weights, do enjoy a decent lighter weights ruck of course too, but give me a good middle to heayweight match up any day!

So hello all! :box:

I've been on a while, mainly lurk, but occasionally feel the need to stick my nose in.

Nigel Benn is my hero. Although currently a big fan of Haye, more so recently as he seems to be the only fighter who puts his bollocks on the line (even more impressive because of his glass chin).

27, from London.

Im a Global moderater on LiveFight and moderater on Budweisers-Forum (Boxing sections) but also post alot on BoxingBanter. I am addicted to Prediction League competitions and am in many including the one here on Boxrec.

Lennox Lewis is my favourite fighter of All-time. Current favourite fighters are David Haye, Paul Williams and Edison Miranda.

Been here a while but never introduced myself.... I've been a huge boxing fan for many years and used to go to lots of big fights in London ringside with my father, but now I'm wheelchair bound and very unwell with MS I can't. :(

Met quite a few boxers in my time, Lennox Lewis, Frank Bruno, Barry McGuigan, Gary Mason, Colin McMillan, Horace Notice, Pat Barrett, Lloyd Honeyghan, Duke McKenzie, Michael Watson, to name a few.

Favourite boxers include Tommy Hearns, Herol Graham, Lloyd Honeyghan, David Haye, Nigel Benn, Dennis Andries, and quite a few more.

Nice to meet you all! :D

Evening all,

Like WelshDevilRob, I'm another Banterite (and former mod there also). I like fighters that turn up in good condition in the boxing ring, make few excuses and don't say a hell of a lot outside it. Main two favourites are Andreas Kotelnik and Arthur Abraham.

Don't hate fighters, although I can fiercely dislike some of their antics in and out of the ring, whether that be constant ducking of opponents, legal issues out of the ring, arrogance in the press / showboating in the ring etc. :witzend: :shame:

Look forward to swapping posts and trading insights in due course...
