I think Oliver Harrison is a fantastic trainer, but Freddie Roach is one of (or maybe is) the best in the World, imo.

Oliver Harrison being dumped the way he was by Amir Khan(T) must have had some effect on OH , but he does not appear to have any obvious downside. Didn't Amir get knocked out soon after? :D

Good job all round by Oliver Harrison - Jamie Moore - Kerry Kayes etc.

:D

Khan by time he fought Limond had a horrible lack of defence and did Olly teach him anything?

Moore's a hard working fighter and deserves his euro title but Picirillo was shot and Moore struggled badly with Facey and Jones 3 before that. World level fighters don't struggle with domestic level guys.

I think if the job is tedious ( going over old ground re: Jones and Facey) you can under perform.

It can happen, motivation might have been the issue.

I agree, Moorsey said on here he wanted a shot at the Euro title, then he said "but I suppose I shall have to fight Facey again". He was clearly pissed off and had very little motivation.

So you think he had learned better defense when he fought Prescott, I dont think so. Has Roach changed him, I didnt see too much change when he fought Fagin. He has the style he has and will always revert to it leaving himself open when he goes in with his flurries. OK at the lower levels although he did get caught out with Limond and Gomez. MAB will teach him his biggest lesson so far. I think the Barrera fight will be his last PPV.

Rumour has it he was getting a right dressing down after the limmond fight by oliver before "team khan" burst in saying how fantastic a performance it was, what a finish etc... How can a trainer teach you anything when everyone around you is ignoring your flaws ?

of course. every time Moore was given a chance to step up another level he looked brilliant - 1st Jones fight, Piccirillo fight.

Max - go and watch some mismatches staged by the "best network in the world."

World level guys haven't dealt with Piccirillo in the manner that Mooresy did either. I can't believe (well I can with you actually) that you're trying to run down an excellent performance to win the European title

i dont understand how anyone can draw anything negative from that performance, why harp on bout facey, did hatton not struggle with Magee/ Thaxton who at the time were domestic level? After that when he wass demotivated did he not struggle against
Vilches?
It means nothing in the long run , the old addage you are only as good as your last performance rings true, and in this case, Jamie Moore is world class, no doubt.

World class perfomance by someon who should have been up there for the past two years.

Anything else is just sour grapes / whining for no reason imo..

I don't understand why people still try and debate these things with Max. Especially you Terry, surely you must know by now. And anyway, who doesn't look bad against Facey?

Great performance by Moore, has really developed into a really good all round fighter. Took Piccirillo out of his rhythm straight away and broke him down patiently :TU:

Come on Max Molyneux, if it was a struggle for Moore, what was it like for Facey? Who, when all is said and done, took two solid thumpings from Jamie.

If you're as good as your last fight, Moore is looking VERY good.

Oh yes - remember that Facey is no mug, he is a big lad at Light Middle and awkward and hard hitting with it.

It was most likely good for OH in the long run, Khans chin was going to get smashed to pieces and OH would have been blamed whenever it happened...

At least OH kept Khan undefeated!

Which one of you guys wants to have the distinction of making the 100th post to yet another DG LEGENDARY THREAD?
