Also, anyone seen the rumours about McGregor doing coke and banging hookers?

*sighs and swoons* Conor is such a role model

Anyone that thinks that professional combat athletes should be role models is slightly naive or misguided IMO.
Completely misguided. Beyond dumb to think that way. Completely agree.

Probably a Condit rematch.
Diaz can take the fight if he wants it. Dana wants Diaz to take it. Diaz brings in the most amount of money.

IIRC, he was coming into his WW bouts at about 200.
CMAC will be back at 145. I do not even see him taking the RDA fight. He is going to do what everyone does. You kill yourself down to the lowest weight you can make. That is exactly what he will do.

It does not surprise me at all. That is what the game is all about these days for most of these guys. They kill themselves to get to the lowest weight possible.

mate, bit of a word of advice and this might be a bit hypocrictical as I used to wanna diss/fight everyone on here too years back at the slightest things said about..wait for it Ricky hatton....,
I did and still do love Ricky but role model he aint but then again nor am I...anyway back to my point, you seem to know a bit about MMA but if you constantly are threatening others and putting them down no one will benefit form that knowledge nor listen to your point, its supposed to be fun and sometimes educational to post on here..so maybe think about your communication style might help you to get the most out of posting here rather than getting involved in pointless pissing competitions..
just trying to help but if you would rather tell me to go eff myself then fair enough...up to you!

It was the misinformation and enthusiasm over CMAc's loss that I had to come and regulate. He lost the fight to Diaz which I expected but for some to call him a farce and phony over that loss was just silly. And to pretend that jumping 25 pounds makes no difference is a joke. It had to be regulated and I was happy to do it. People took other positions only because it justified their bias and hatred for CMAC. I am not really even a CMAC fan but ImpracticalMMAjoker is just that. He is a joke and was trying to make truth out of lies. I was glad to regulate him. He was just being a hater and talking like a fool.

Yeah that fight would make sense. However, are you talking about Nate here or Nick? (No idea if/how long Nick's ban is) A rematch with Nick would be interesting actually.

Nick is eligible to fight Aug 1st this year. It will be interesting to see who he fights, what type of fighting condition he's in, AND if he can pass a drug test.
Can't wait for him to come back though.
Wonder if Conor would still like to fight him?

Nate. Dana has reportedly offered the fight to Nate. Nate's stock is at an all time high after the CMAC win. Nick is suspended and I am not sure he will get a title shot right off the bat at all. He certainly does not deserve that at all. There are plenty of guys that deserve the shot in front of him. I am sure Dana wants to capitalize on that nate buzz right now.

Yeah likewise. Would be an interesting fight. Saying that though, i'm one of the few guys on here I think that likes Conor as a fighter

.... i understand his cockiness rubs people the wrong way though!
I'd like to see him at 155. He's gonna have it tough enough as it is without going in against a natural 170 fighter like Nick who has also campaigned at 185! Lol. Mcgregor could be a top 5 guy at 155 I think but I find it hard to see him beating RDA and Khabib in particular who would just wrestlefuck him to death! Mcgregor vs Pettis would be a fun fight to make though.

Yeah I wouldnt argue with that. Not sure how Nate would do against the current best 170 fighter in the world though. He's a more natural 155 fighter and could get quite badly busted up I think although it would be a fun fight to watch.

I would agree with what you said. Lawlor would have a lot of advantages. He would certainly be the solid favorite in that fight. Nate would have to be in top form to make that one competitive.

It would be interesting. If Nate is on top of his game, he could win. I think Nate's boxing can be underappreciated a bit. Most talk about his submission game, but not really his stand up skill. I can see him giving Lawler all he can handle on the feet. However, all it takes is one flush shot from Robbie, and it's nighty night. His power is on another level than Conor's. But, I don't think he is as quick as Conor.
Styles make fights. I'd give Nate a much better chance against Robbie than I would Big Rigg.

Sounds like it's going to be McGregor/Diaz II for UFC 200.
http://www.mmafighting.com/2016/3/18/11 ... or-ufc-200
Kinda sucks. Frankie gets screwed again. Now we have to wait for Conor to try and regain some composure while putting the FW title on freeze. He should have to go down and defend, then try to avenge his loss.
If this goes through, Conor gets beat worse than last time.... unless this ends up like a Leonard/Duran type thing where Diaz goes hog wild with his money and comes in like crap.... Guess that would be kinda the same shape he fought Conor in the first time though.

This is about what is gonna bring in the most money and Diaz/CMAC 2 is what is gonna make the most people buy or want to buy the PPV combined with the other fights on the card. I really think Edgar is behind Aldo at 145 anyway because that rematch is gonna sell better than CMAC/Edgar no doubt.

I was soooo hoping!
Guess they know Edgar would be looking to set up his take downs and work on top to a 5 round decision.(which I think he would do successfully). A Diaz rematch, while not very significant in the larger scheme of things, will produce a lot of excitement and drama for as long as it lasts. If Conor goes back down and loses to Edgar, a lot of his pizzazz will diminish. If he loses to Nate again, they can just blame it on the weight again. They are assured at least an additional big payday with a Nate rematch.

Right now he is the biggest draw in the game. Dana and the UFC are gonna take advantage of it as much as they can because at the end of the day the UFC is a business and the business here is making money. The last fight with Diaz was basically an MMA exhibition or feature attraction because it did not have the chance of leading to anything when it was fought at 170. This fight at 155 could lead to the winner fighting RDA possibly. I think that is where this may go.

Yeah.. He's a bit center stage right now. I have a feeling he will be more blended in in a year or so once everyone sees that he's pretty beatable. Once he starts getting thrashed by some of the "smaller" guys, his words will mean little to nothing. It's already apparent he has issues with rangier guys with solid skill sets.

Anderson Silva/Uriah Hall set for UFC 198.
Given that Silva has declines, this makes for an interesting match up. May even see Silva sleeping again.
