Re: Conor Benn - What Next?

I'd say 50% diminished given he went from going life and death with a french petrol station attendant to icing people...granted they were grandads that he starched but...polecateddy wrote: ↑20 Mar 2023, 08:58 I don’t think a Kell Brook fight is a good idea. He’s a recovering addict who just does some keep fit now. Benn is obviously desperate to cash out after being exposed as a PED head. He’s probably 20% diminished now he’s actually gone clean. Natural testosterone is probably well down.
He’s not a recovering addict. He’s a lad who likes a sesh. Not great for a top class athlete but a world away from an addict.polecateddy wrote: ↑20 Mar 2023, 08:58 I don’t think a Kell Brook fight is a good idea. 8-10 week camp , with a good dietiscn , good coach not a mate doing it for a holiday , he'll be good to go and will hammer a clean Benn. actually hope this one goes ahead , rather this than paccy who will just be another victim for Benn to bragg about .mickey1975 wrote: ↑20 Mar 2023, 15:42He’s not a recovering addict. Seems like your a little calmer about the Benn situation. There was a time early on I thought you might wear the comma right off yer keyboardconeye wrote: ↑20 Mar 2023, 18:208-10 week camp , with a good dietiscn , good coach not a mate doing it for a holiday , he'll be good to go and will hammer a clean Benn. actually hope this one goes ahead , rather this than paccy who will just be another victim for Benn to bragg about .mickey1975 wrote: ↑20 Mar 2023, 15:42He’s not a recovering addict. Well actually in a perfect world even this does'nt go ahead , what happens in a perfect world the lying little scroat goes ahead with his bullshit court case against the BBBC something he won't do because he'es just a loud mouth little bully full of threats and bluster ,, but anyway in a perfect world he goes ahead , loses gets hit with costs , and ends up skint after the lawyers finish with him , Eddie relizes he's flogging a dead horse , takes his losses on him on the chin writes them off against the taxman , and pisses the cheating little toe rag offf . But unfortunatly its not a perfect world . still like to see him fight Annyesan

5 years ago yeah but he’s shot to bits now and has fought once in 3 years against an even more shot to bits Khan. It’s a classic Benn opponent - a big name at the very end of his career wanting a payday.

Speaking to Boxing Social, Hearn said he would be happy to answer the radio host’s questions, but admitted he is concerned about being spoken over by the combative Jordan.
“I might have to set out some ground rules before we start. You’ve got to let me speak. What he does is, he talks over you.”
“He’s a very good debater, as am I, and I’m happy to answer his questions.”
“The thing that frustrates me the most is that he would have done exactly the same thing as me. I don’t think he understands the dynamics that we don’t run the sport of boxing. The sport of boxing in the UK is run by the British Boxing Board of Control, so I want to explain a lot of that.”
“I’m sure it will be heated, I’m sure it will be great entertainment, and I look forward to delivering the biggest numbers on Talksport for some time.”
Who is advising this guy. Honestly?lefthook82 wrote: ↑21 Mar 2023, 14:11 Conor Benn doesn't realise how bad a look that was for him. He really is thick.
That would be ace.ashall2 wrote: ↑23 Mar 2023, 13:05 Things have been going well for Hearn the last few weeks (DAZN getting a Sky channel, good fights announced, Fury making a tit of himself etc) so why on earth is he persisting with Benn. Just fck him off. Surely he knows everyone in Britain hates him by now and he’s not worth the hassle.
Don't hold your breath Spud . It's as bad as Johnson in front of the privileges commitee yesterday for bluster.Spud wrote: ↑23 Mar 2023, 13:18 I am totally astounded at some people’s stance on Connor Benn.
Whist some people predicted what would happen, I naively thought we would get a compelling reason as far as guilty/Notguilty is concerned.
What is happening at the moment is people who think we are as thick as f*ck that Connor Benn has been found unequivocally found not guilty.
What evidence is there that Benn is not guilty and when are the public going to be shown some respect and be told the evidence.
I am genuinely totally and utterly disgusted that boxing fans are being treated as if they are imbeciles.
For the sake of boxing, would Team Benn give the public what they deserve…. The evidence.
Eddie’s all in on Benn. His reputation took a hammering in the days/weeks after it erupted so I can’t see him walking away now.ashall2 wrote: ↑23 Mar 2023, 13:05 Things have been going well for Hearn the last few weeks (DAZN getting a Sky channel, good fights announced, Fury making a tit of himself etc) so why on earth is he persisting with Benn. He has made a brilliant heel when I think about it.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑23 Mar 2023, 18:34 benn has looked awful at every stage of this, an example of how not to react to a controversy.............you could argue he's trying to go full on heel mode now, but he's too whiney to do that well
