When I watch the 12th round of the first Wilder vs Fury fight, I'm reminded of why I enjoyed watching Fury.
But, seeing the bravery and composure on display makes me sad that he has now gone down this weird route of picking on lesser opponents, pricing himself out of meaningful fights and belittling people (see his comments to Uysk).
Can anyone imagine in tennis, Novak saying he won't take on Federer or Nadal because they haven't got the same profile as him, pricing himself out of match ups against them and then taking on a badminton or squash champion instead? It's really weird ( in a Big Doofus kinda way)
Yeah, I really warmed to Fury after this fight, but I'm afraid since, he's gone down a great deal in my estimation. I'm sure he's not too bothered about that, but there we have it.

Yeah, Furys kids in there mansions, posh cars and luxurious lives, saying Dad! Why didn't you fight that little Ukranian?
I'd prefer to be living in a caravan, tarmacing all day than have a coward for a father.
Fury's kids won't have any value of money. Tyson has earned fabulously - and one credit you have to give Fury is that he doesn't appear overly extravagant in his spending: a very nice house .. but not exactly a mansion; a few decent cars .. but nothing silly like a Brabus G wagon money, and even his wardrobe appears knock off from TK Maxx or tat with his Gypsy King logo printed.
As many children of rich and famous parents do, Furys kids will very likely gravitate towards social media to make their name - their father's reputation will be very important because basically that will be their 'qualifications'.
What is a mansion? “A large, impressive house” according to the dictionary. I haven’t been there but £1.7m plus renovations Morecambe would certainly get you that. Most tv footage is of his old house.
OK .. so a mansion may be a subjective term. But something like AJ`s £25 million pound home would be an example of an extravagant home that would fit my description of a mansion.
Whilst £1.7 million is way out of my own price range; I have a few friends who live in houses close to that price, and none of them (as far as I know) have over a million quid in their bank accounts.
To be fair also - the renovations on that £1.7m house in Morcambe will prob be devaluing it ... have you seen his new driveway
That Fury is not extravagant with his money is a credit to him though - it will be nice to know the wealth he has earned will be passed down to his children - there are too many examples of ex-champions who have blown their vast fortunes.

Big Lennox is a bit creepy. He’s even obsessing about Fury’s children now.
My point being that Fury comes from a proud fighting family and sells himself as being the best ever and will fight anyone for free etc, but even Fury's closest family members must be questioning whether he has the nerve to take on the best. And it needn't be that way. He just needs to box his main rivals. It's quite a simple solution.
His main rivals being Usyk and Joshua who have both walked away from fights with him twice in the past 9 months. If they wanted to fight him do you not question why their promoters didn’t make Fury a counter offer?

allegedly's words is that it is a game changer FOR BOXING - so my guess is something like either a UFC / MMA guy - could he even manage to secure a world title debut (not even McGregor could get that)?
Or perhaps a left field one - the current WBC Bridgerweight champion and Warren saying something like first time in history the Bridgerweight champion challenges for the Heavyweight title?
Lets be honest - it aint going to be a boxer with a realistic chance at winning.
Unless the game changer could be the venue and then it could be against a complete no hoper of a heavyweight with no angle at all.

Simon Jordan says the announcement will be 'Landscape changing' and "create opportunities". Sounds like a business deal, odd way to describe a fight. Is this another ESPN deal?

There’s nothing currently out about the TNT Sports that anyone other than their own marketing team would called ‘game changing’ or ‘landscape changing’. Frank may over egg what’s actually happening but I’d be a bit surprised if Simon Jordan would do the same for something that is little more than a brand name change.
