He is old, and quite shopworn.
He had a late boost in form in his mid 30's before father time took that away. Now pushing 40

I don't know how he went so quickly from handily beating groves ( to me and I was rooting for groves, Jack looked fantastic in that fight, I didn't see it close at all)looking at his peak then struggling with a worn out Degale and losing to an ordinary Marcus Browne, happened very fast

Sounds like he did ok last night??

Yeah and Silva got knocked out in his pro boxing debut about twenty years ago, now he's lost to a novice, there's nothing more to see surely unless your a pop culture fanatic or something ??

I had him slightly beating Adonis Stevenson.

But man, he makes it hard to score forh im.

jack barely won his previous fight , vs a clubfighter, as well. very up and down in his recent fights, though makabu was always vulnerable so im not really surprised he won this. 3 division champ sounds nice and indeed he's had a very solid career, a strong fighter, though one who often takes a while to get going

that said, jack vs ccanello for a cruiserweight doesnt really do it for me, already seen talk of that. would prefer jack vs a high level but non elite cruiser, especially one who is stepping up a level / still has something to prove. someone mentioned cbs - that's the type i mean

Jack vs Makubu was two shot fighters make no mistake about it, Jack has his fundamentals still, but his legs aren't there, he took a fair amount of shots in this fight, and everyone be gunning to fight him, he hasn't a hope against a lot of smh, I'd heard some of the British cruisers fancy the makubu fight and he was definitely the weakest champ.

Commentary was a bit harsh on makubu, he did land a lot, but seemed like he was redlining, though the stoppage was a bit early but no real complaints

I had Aduckus Chickenson edging that one, it it was a very good effort where a little more effort would have clinched it.
As for last night, it was the only other fight I watched besides the main event and Jack was, well they both were a bit old and fragile.

Soccer Aid is also for charity and is not regulated as a professional competition. Even the YouTubers football match was for charity.
