I agree. Most competitive was throughout was the AJ rematch, but I still had Usyk a comfortable winner. The SD ruins it a bit made it seem AJ could've won.

I think I gave Chisora 2 or 3 rounds. After the third round he was a punching bag and it was barely competitive. Despite not have any truly dominant rounds like Chisora's opening rounds, AJ remained somewhat competitive throughout in both fights despite comfortably losing most of the rounds.

It's just a myth created by Matchroom/Sky which has now been used against them to peddle Fury's legacy in the same way that Fury fans think Wilder is so great because he beat Ortiz who is so great because he... was a bogeyman?

yeah the 'Chis gave Usyk nightmares' line is one of the stranger bits of Matchroom hype to have actually made its way onto forums (i've seen a few posters use the line one way or another)

nobody really bought the Matchroom line that Bellew gave Usyk his toughest fight at the time, but it seems big Del's ostensible aggression had people confused.

Joyce would have 100% taken the fight. This defence is absolute bollocks and everything involved needs lashing with the raggy end of a pineapple.

Yep, not a great back story. Like you, I struggle to look past the wild boar story. It makes me question the validity of what I am watching.

Yep, not a great back story. Like you, I struggle to look past the wild boar story. It makes me question the validity of what I am watching.

People trot out the old 'everyone's at it', but Fury actually was doing it. I would have more respect for him if he came forward and admitted it.

Chisora was probably lined up long ago. The offer to AJ, so soon after the Usyk fight and not allowing enough time for a full training camp, was just posturing. The initial bluff was called and that then set up the bizarre, unneeded, personal deadlines, just another barrier to fudge it all up.

The Chisora fight will probably be the final episode in his Netflix series. It would be a painful finale if he got starched by a more credible and dangerous opponent, best keep it safe.

You might not have heard of him but there a many that had before this. That’s why Tyson went on his YouTube channel as it had pretty much 2m subscribers.

He was one of the commentators on the first DAZN misfits show. He was pretty critical about some of the fighters (again, telling it how it is) and wasn’t invited back for the second misfits show.

They made the first offer to Chisora in August and Tyson gave him no deadlines.

Got any links to the contract for the December fight being sent on the 6th September? Fury's initial call out video was on the 5th September.
From what i've read, it was around the 17/18th September they sent the contract, Hearn stating they received it around the 20th.
Even Fwank W stated they kept quiet after the Queen's death and mourning period before sending them. The Queen died on the 8th September.

I completey agree, and previously stated that they were both to blame, they were both playing a game. A bluff was made, a bluff was called, more bluffs put up, and then it finally all bluffed out.
However, Doofus appears to believe everything Fury says and also appears to have his very soul haunted by Anthony Joshua and his damn Milan fashion show.
